Day # 35

Today i had a lot of running around to do and didn't get to play barely any poker. I started playing and within like an hour of playing i just realized that i was in no mood to play. I played 2 5/10nl tables and one 25/50nl table on stars, thats right i said 25/50 haha. I was waiting to get on another 5/10 table and i noticed that the 25/50 table looked extremely weak so i sat down there instead. I only played up there for about a half hour so i didn't really get involved in any big pots while playing there. I only played for a half hour because after like only 15 minutes of playing there like 3 of the top players on stars/online decided to join the table so i figured i should quit. Although I did manage to make a little bit of a profit for not really playing at all today. I am planning on putting together a 6+ hour session tomorrow so check back to see how that goes. So that pretty much sums up my poker today so here are some hands from today and I'm out.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?838947 -standard result when i have aces.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?838948 -I really wished i would've bet the turn here instead of checking but my plan was to check raise but he didn't fall for the bait.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?838953
http://www.pokerhand.org/?838954 - Here i really messed up by betting the river. I knew he had absolutely nothing and shouldve checked the river to try and get him to bluff again. My tiny 250 bet was supposed to look like a freeze bet to get him to come over the top but i think the right play would've been to check again. I knew he didn't have aa/kk/qq or he would just check the river after me so the only way i would've made more money was to allow him to try and bluff one last time.

Day # 34

I am pretty tired so this is going to be a pretty short post. I played in the Sunday tournament and finished like 830th or something which was good enough to get in the money but was really a waste of time. I think i made like 60 bucks or something for the 4 hours of time i put into the tournament. I was just going to quit after the tournament but decided to sit down at a 5/10nl table and a 10/20nl table and it was a pretty bad idea. I lost like 2k pretty quick, my hands weren't holding up, so i decided to cut my losses after a while. With that being said I'm calling it a night and hope to rebound back tomorrow after having like 3 losing days in a row. Here are a few hands from today and I'm out.

Day # 32/33

It was a long weekend so i didnt have anytime to post anything but i did play a little friday and saturday so i am posting about it now. I only played for like an hour on friday and nothing really happened in that hour to talk about. Saturday was a different story, i played for like 3 hours, was playing really aggressive and within the first hour i was down about 2k. Instead of quiting i decided to slow down and try to get back to even but came up short after the 3 hours. It is sunday right now and im playing in the big 215 buy in tournament on stars so i hope to at least cash in it. There are like 3000 players left out of the 6500, im in 1600th position out of the 3000 so if i double up i should be able to at least cash. The tourney pays the top 900 players and first prize is 190,000. With that being said i am going to get back to the tourney so check back later tonight to see how i did and when i am 190,000 richer haha.

Day # 31

Today i only played for a few hours so this will be a short post. I had some pretty good results in the little amount of time i actually played. I wasn't even going to play at all today but i figured i would play in a few tournaments while i was sitting around. So my plan was to play 10/20nl for like a half hour to win money to pay for my tournaments and a half hour later i am up about 1k, not bad. So i quit playing the 10/20 when the tournaments started which was a big mistake because i absolutely sucked in the tournaments and the 10/20 game was pretty weak. I busted out of the tournaments about an hour and a half in so i decided rather that quit playing i would try some more pot limit Omaha. I played the 3/6 game which was playing pretty soft and i was picking up some good hands so i was able to turn my 600 into about 1100 after a few hours. Unfortunately i was playing on my laptop and i cant transfer over the hand histories to my desktop so i cant post any of my hands from today. Well that pretty much sums up my short session from today so with that being said goodnight and I'm out

Day # 30

Today was an ok day for poker and a SPECTACULAR valentines day. I had such a great time because i was able to spend the day with my true love, Jinx haha. We had some pretty fancy dining which included some cold pizza and fancy feast haha. Anyways enough bragging about my day and onto some poker talk. I didn't really play as much today as i really wanted to. I had the dumb idea of sitting down at 5/10 Pot limit Omaha which i couldn't believe how bad the players were at that level. When i say dumb idea i don't mean i was playing bad but i just don't think i know enough about the game to playing that high yet. But i was really in shock of how bad the players were at that high of stakes. I was cruising along up a couple hundred in the game then i got totally fucked over in a big pot so i decided to quit playing. I got all in on the turn with the nut flush and the other guy rivered out a straight flush on me it was so sick. He hit his 1 outer for about a 1k pot which pissed me off so i quit before i started playing stupid. Losing the money didn't make me mad it was the fact that i was playing so well and if i would've won that pot i know i would've ran that table over. So i will probably be trying out some more Omaha in the future but who knows i think i should read up on it a bit more first. Luckily i know how to play no limit and was able to win my money back within a few hours. I was able to turn an ok profit for only playing a few hours and starting off down 800. Well i just finished playing in the 20 heads up tourney that i said i would play in until i won and i just finished 2nd, so stupid. Yeah it did pay like 540 or something but to get that far and not win is a huge let down. I am so mad i don't even really feel like talking about today's play anymore so here are a few hands and I'm out.

Day # 29....COLD

Well it was extremely cold outside today and on days like these i am so glad that i don't have a job haha. I didn't play as much as i would've liked to today but i did still manage to get in about 5 hours of play. I played 1 5/10nl table on fulltilt, 3 5/10nl tables on stars, a little 10/20nl on stars, some .50/1 Omaha, and a few tournaments. It was a pretty hectic 5 hours to say the least. I had some pretty good results on both sites for the short amount of time that i played. I really hate full tilt with a passion but the 5/10 games are pretty soft during the day and i think they are pretty profitable as long as my hands hold up. I was lucky enough to pick up a few big hands on ft against some idiots who don't know how to fold so i was able to make some decent money on there today. As far as Stars goes it was really an up and down day. I started off playing some 10/20 and was up like 1200 real quick but then ran into a few big hands and ended up breaking even in the game. I quit playing the 10/20 after a few hours because a lot of the 25/50 players were joining the table and there is no point playing against a bunch of really solid players. So i started fooling around at Omaha and made like 200 which isn't bad for playing only .50/1. I really like playing Omaha but i just don't think i am good enough at it yet to play for any real stakes. I really am going to read up and try to become a good Omaha player as well because it is fun to play something different other than no limit all the time. I also played in the 20 heads up tourney again that i took 2nd in like a week ago and this tournament field is so weak. I ended up taking 9th out of like 205 people but i am not happy with my results at all. I think i won like 70 bucks or something but the competition is so soft i feel like i shouldve won this tournament. The top prize for the tourney is usually around 1k and with the field being so soft i am going to keep playing this tourney every night until i win it. Anyways i am starting to ramble so i am going to get some sleep so check back tomorrow and I'm out. Here are some hands from today's play for your viewing pleasure.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?821372 - I really have no clue why i checked the river here i honestly think i was playing so many tables at once i wasn't really focused on what was going on.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?821375 - I think i make the perfect bet here on the river because it looks like i am value betting a heart and he ends up folding his A.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?821380 - pretty good flop for me here haha but once he bets the flop there i know he has an over pair so i know if i just call he will get suspicious so i raise and he pushes all in.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?821385 - here i really wish now that i would've pushed all in on the turn. I knew he had the 7 and for some reason i tried to get cute with my straight and when the river fell i knew that now if i pushed he wouldn't call unless i was beat.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?821390 - I really thought here on the river forever before i folded. He was a pretty solid player and has to have me on at least ak in this spot so i think when he pushed he was hoping that A helped me and wanted to get called. Also the only hand i am really beating in this spot is qq which is a possibility but i just don't know about this hand.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?821393
http://www.pokerhand.org/?821397 - perfect example of playing the man and not the cards. I play with him a lot and know how he thinks i play so when he bets the 100 i am putting him on a pretty weak hand like 10s or something like that. So once i check raise here he has to have me on aa/kk/qq and if he comes over the top all in i can just fold.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?821403 - ???

Day # 28 Amazing what can be accomplished in a day when waking up before 3.

Today i was able to put together a pretty lengthy session playing for around 7 hours which is the most i have played in a while. I played the 7 hours in 2 different sessions of about 3 and a half hours each with a hour dinner break in between. The first session i was playing two 5/10nl tables on stars and 1 5/10 nl table on full tilt. I was totally card dead on stars and was really lucky to be up a little bit after the first 3 and half hours. Full tilt was a different story though i was running pretty good and for once my big hands weren't getting drawn out on. I was starting to lose focus after about 4 hours primarily due to the fact i wasn't really getting any cards on stars so i decided it was a good time for a dinner break. So after the first 4 hours i was up about 2400 on full tilt and up like 50 bucks or something on stars haha. While i was eating some crappy hot dogs (how a baller enjoys fine dining haha) i was watching High Stakes Poker and for anyone who hasnt seen this show yet i highly recommend it. It is on the game show network Monday's at 8 and is by far the best poker show on TV. While watching this i was going to play in some tournaments that started at 9 and that was supposed to be the last of my poker for the night, supposed to be. I got in 4 tournaments in which i couldn't get anything going in any of them and was out of all 4 of them by 1030. My plan was to at least get deep in a few of these and call it a night but after sucking so bad in all of them i decided to play some more cash games. I only played on Stars this time due to the fact that the 5/10 games on full tilt looked pretty tough at the time. So i played 3 tables of 5/10nl and a 10/20 nl table on stars for about 3 hours. The 10/20 game was pretty weak so i was able to have some nice results there and i was also playing/running pretty well on the 5/10 tables too. Well that pretty much sums up my day as far as poker goes so i am going to get some sleep and try to put together another nice session tomorrow. Here are some hands for you and I'm out.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?818596 - Here i learn how to not get sucked out on at fullilt haha.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?818600 -Here the ol' 75 suited comes through again. I knew this guy was just making a continuation bet on the flop and when he checked the turn to me i really thought i was going to take it down there. He called though which kind of threw me off but i had a zillion outs going into the river and was able to hit and get paid off.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?818605 - Sick thing is I run so bad on Full tilt, once we get it all in on the flop here i am actually expecting a 2 to come on the river.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?818607-
http://www.pokerhand.org/?818610 - 10/20 donk
http://www.pokerhand.org/?818612 - Here i would raise a lot of the time in position with ak but i had a feeling with his raise in early position he had a pretty big hand. So i play it slow til the river and i actually thought for a good 2o-30 seconds about checking the river after he had checked to me but i went ahead and threw out a value bet and got called by the big hand. I actually feel like i got off really cheap in this spot and if i wouldve checked like i almost did on the river i feel like i wouldve played it perfect.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?818615 pretty self explanatory.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?818618 - this guy was a maniac and trying to bluff at everything so i just call him down rather than raising like i would do most times here.

Days 26/27

I really haven't been in the mood to post anything over the past few days so i am doing it now. I played for about 3 hours on Saturday and had some decent results making around 600. I played in a VIP free roll tournament which paid the winner 10,000 but busted out in like 50th place or something. There were like 800 players and i really couldve made the final table had my AK all in preflop vs. AQ would've held up, but obviously a Q hit the flop and i lost. As for yesterday i played for around 5 hours and just couldn't get anything going. I played in the big Sunday 215 buy in tournament on stars for the first time in a while but it was a big waste of time. There were about 6500 players paying the top 1080 and i busted out in like 1500th place so it was a waste of time. Also in the cash games i couldn't really get much going and when i did i would get involved in a big pot which i seemed to lose every time. So when i busted out of the tourney i decided to cut my losses of around 1k and call it a day. I am playing right now and will be posting today's results later so check back for that and I'm out. Here are a few hands from the past few days for your viewing pleasure haha.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?816990 ]
http://www.pokerhand.org/?816998 - stupid call on the river here. i know he has aces and i still call it off.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?817003
http://www.pokerhand.org/?817011 - I almost folded the river here because i knew had quads but it was so cheap i had to pay the 100 off.

Yesterdays play/Day # 25

This is going to be a pretty short post so here goes. I played for about 3 hours and was immediately down about 900 dollars after the first half hour. I was playing this idiot heads up and he was just hitting every card against so he took about 900 off me. Then i played 3 full tables and won some nice pots/lost some big pots that really prevented me from making any money. So as hard as i tried to get back to even i came up a little short but thats ok after being down 900 to start. I also played in the 20 dollar heads up tourney that i took 2nd in the day before and managed to finish 11th this time but it only paid like 60 bucks so it was pretty much a waste of time. Anyways here are some hands from yesterday, i dont really feel like explaining any of them so im just going to put them up and im out.

Day #24/ 1st real session since Vegas

Today i finally managed to get together a session that was longer than 2 hours. I played for about 8 hours and had some pretty good results to show for it. I played about 4 hours of cash games seeing around 600 hands and the other 4 hours was in a tournament. The cash games i played were 3 tables of 5/10 nl and 2 tables of 10/20nl on stars. I played pretty well in the 5/10 games and picked up some big hands for some nice pots and in the 10/20 i played well on one table but bad on another. I am pretty mad about the 10/20 because the table i did bad on was really soft and i just wasn't able to get anything going on there. I quit playing cash games around 8 to watch the red wings game and Lost but decided to get in a 20 dollar heads up tourney. I really got in this tourney just kind of as a joke and kind of just something to do while sitting on the couch watching TV. There were 189 people in the tournament and it paid the top 32 players. Spots 32-16 only made like 50 and 16-8 paid like 110 so in my mind it would really be pointless unless i finished in the top 8. Top prize was like 980 and second was 540 then spots 5-8 got paid 250. So with that being said i ended up taking 2nd overall but really really really wanted to take the first. I guess its ok to make while killing time watching tv though haha. That was probably the worst competition i have faced in a long time though, it was like i was playing against monkeys haha. Anyways i am going to get some sleep and hope to get together another good session tomorrow I'm out. Here are some hands from today but it sucks i don't have the final hand of the tourney because i played on my laptop.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?804162 - this guy was playing pretty poorly so once that flop hit i was praying he had a big over pair and he did. The rest explains itself.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?804165 - trying to pick up the blinds here but at the same time i make this raise with big hands too. Once the flop hits i represent at least ak in this spot and unless someone has ak i get away with it.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?804180 - Here i think i am value betting the river and get check raised where i make a bad call i guess. I thought he had ak in this spot and put me on ak as well so just tried to take it instead of splitting the pot with me and i was wrong.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?804186 - here is how u snap off AA haha. No but really the preflop reraise threw me but once he bet the 150 on the flop i know he has a big pair here. So i figure i have 9 outs and if i hit one of them i am going to bust him so i call the flop. Now the 9 on the turn is a really good card for me because it now gives me 13 outs. So once he bets the 300 out on the turn i thought about check raising but at this point i know i am going to be called so there is no real point. So i just call and if i miss the river i check and fold but i hit my card and push hoping for a call and i get one.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?804193 - pretty nice pot here for a 5/10 table and i find a way to not get rivered.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?804196 - rivered.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?804199 - this guy just makes a nice bet on the turn which i can not call. I know his play and his bet on the flop just screamed of some type of draw so I have him on a club draw and raise to 330. He calls and once the club hits i am done with the hand. He made a nice play but i was right about him being on a draw on the flop so if the club doesnt hit the turn and say a blank like a 2 of hearts comes it wouldve been very interesting to see what he wouldve done then.

Day # 23

Well today i played poker for the first time in a while and had some okay results. I played 2 tables of 5/10nl and 1 table of 10/20 and was absolutely card dead. Today was a really boring day of cards. I don't think i played any big pots and it really felt like i was just sitting around getting blinded away. I did only play for like 3.5 hours but after hitting the fold button 84940934 million times it felt like an eternity. I have been really slacking off the past week on this goal and really plan on playing a lot over the next few weeks. I was on a pretty good pace before going to Vegas and it seems like since i have been back i haven't been able to get a single good session in. I am for sure going to play at least 6 hours through the next 3 days and hope to get back ahead of schedule for the goal. Right now i am right on pace to break it in 100 days but i was really hoping that i could do it before that. With that being said i am going to get some rest so check back tomorrow and I'm out. Here are some hands from today.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?800935 - Interesting hand here against a super aggressive player. His bet on the river is a total bluff that he missed on or is a real big hand. I took time and thought forever on the river but finally folded because i have seen him make this bet many times with huge hands so i decided to let it go.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?800944 - another hand against the same player that i was not going to fold. I knew if i kept checking to him he would just keep firing at it on the flop and turn. I was planning on betting the river but there would be really no point because i didn't have him on an A and he wont call with anything unless i am beat and also i give him another chance to bluff on the river.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?800949 - I really have him on a hand like aj/aq when he pushes here so i call. He could have a mid pair here but if so than i am about 50/50 anyways so i call.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?800951 - This guy would've got some more money out of me here if he played it stronger. Once he raised the 100 on the turn i was pretty sure i was beat but wanted to see it anyways so i call and goodbye money.

Anyways i am still feeling the effects of the super bowl and i am about to pass out so check back tomorrow and hopefully i will get this goal back on track.

Day # 21 i guess.............

I have fallen into my old ways of not having time to play due to my drinking. I didnt play yesterday or today due to the fact it was the weekend and i dont wake up before 2. Today was the STUPER bowl and it was fucking awesome as usual. We had a party and by the end of the 3rd quarter it was pretty much a total gong show. I didnt even want to bet on the game but ended up betting 50 on the colts just to make it interesting to watch. I knew the colts would win but i really didnt think they would cover the spread of 7 so it was pretty sweet that i won a big 50 bucks, ballllinnnnnnnnnnnn haha. Rex gossman shouldve been thje mvp of the game he is such a piece of shit and completely fucking sucked just like i figured he would. haha i am being stupid blastign techno at like 4 on a sunday morning and i fucking love it.. I was really drunk and about to pass about but now im fucking rocking and might get on Stars and hand out some money haha. I just got into my techno playlist so i will probably be up til tuesdayhaha, download some benny benassi immediately and some old schoold MJ and some ricky james to get shit poppin aka my favorite song, give it to me baby..anyways i am drunk and i plan on getting this blog back on track within a few days so check back for that and im out......... and by out i mean i am probably going to play a few tables and hand out money.

Day # 20/Early post

I am posting this now because i don't know if i will be playing anymore today and probably wont get around to posting later. Today was another short session and i actually played on Full tilt for the first time in a while. I haven't played on there since i got really drunk one night and lost like 4k on there. This was around Christmas time so my money has been just sitting on there since then. I was actually thinking about cashing the 3k i have left on there out but since Neteller has been shut down to the U.S. that's not possible now. So i guess i will just keep it on there and hopefully keep building it up or i will keep it on there until it is gone. The neteller shutdown has a lot of people in the online poker community going crazy. By going crazy i mean there are a lot of people who are going into panic mode and withdrawing all their money off the poker sites. But at the same time if i had 80k in my neteller account and was being told by neteller my funds were seized and couldn't withdraw my money i would be going a little crazy too. Neteller shutting down sucks because this is the 1st big step by the government in actually trying to shut down online poker. It also sucks because there will be less dead money putting money on to their accounts, which means the games will become a lot tougher. I am not too worried over the neteller shutdown because it doesn't effect me in anyway but it sucks for the people who left large amounts of money on there. Luckily, most of my online money is on stars and i feel confident that even if online poker did some how shutdown in the future i would still get my money from them. They were one of the only online sites that didn't leave the u.s. market when the online gaming ban was passed and they are by far the best site when it comes to customer support. Well that is a little update on whats going on with neteller and my thoughts on the whole ordeal. Anyways enough about that lets talk about today's session. As i said earlier i played 1 table of 5/10nl on Full tilt and 2 tables on pokerstars a 5/10nl table and some 10/20nl. I only played for a couple of hours but had some ok results on all three tables. I shouldve made a lot more on fulltilt but of course i flop a set and the guy turns a higher set on a 3 way all in hand on the flop. I didn't really play for long enough to get into the groove of the game but was lucky enough to pick up a few big hands today and sometimes that's all it takes. With that being said I'm not sure if i will be playing anymore today so i am posting now but if i do i will make another post of the results. Here are some hands from today and I'm out.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?789215 -Here i threw out a weak bet on the flop hoping to make it look like i have ak and hopefully will get raised. He does raise but i think i made a mistake here by pushing the flop. I wish i wouldve called the flop, checked the turn, and let him go all in on the turn.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?789225 - this is a perfect example of why i hate Full tilt. I swear every time i get my money all in on the flop i lose every single time. It could be any draw and they will hit or a 2 outer like this one and they hit every time.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?789242 - Here i flop a set and think i play it pretty well. Once he reraises im hoping for ak/aa so i just call the flop. He pushes out 600 then folds to my 900 more which makes me think he didnt have much and was just trying to take it away from me.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?789246 - me trying to get sneaky with AA and of course stars doesnt allow that. Sick thing is when the kk comes up and he checks i am pretty sure he has the K so i just call his small bets on the turn and river. Couldve raised preflop but im assuming he wouldve folded and i only make 80 which is better than losing 250 but i was hoping to pick up a nice flop and try to get his whol 800 not 80.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?789254 - pretty standard, flop a set, have it become the losing hand, then river the winner.

Day # 19

Today i didn't play any poker at all. I had somethings to do and had a raging headache all day so i wasn't able to find any time to play. I did pick up the hd cable for my ps3 and after all of the Sony bashing i have been doing i would have to say these are probably the best games i have ever seen. The tiger woods game, NHL, and Resistance game are amazing in hd and now i have gone from possibly taking my ps3 back to thinking its the best game system ever. Anyways i am going to try and sleep off this headache and hopefully i will be able to get back into the swing of things tomorrow.

Day # 19/20

This post is for yesterdays play and i will have another post up tonight showing today's results. Today was a pretty bad day for me in poker. I only played for a few hours and i was playing pretty poorly. I was making some bad calls and running into a few big hands which i was at the losing end of. I took a break after 2 hours of play to set up my trip to Vegas in march and eat with plans of playing more afterwards but that didn't happen. I wanted to come back and play more but was introduced to the game Guitar Hero 2. For anyone who hasn't played this game i strongly recommend getting it, its sick. We ended up drinking/playing this game until 5am which left me with no time to play poker and also with a sore left hand. Like i said before i also set up a trip in the middle of march to go back to Vegas to get my money back haha. There is like 6 of us going out there for like 5 days and even though i just got back from there a week ago i already cant wait to go back. We are going to be out there right in the middle of march madness so that will be pretty cool. Last year i went out there during march madness and it was pretty fun just to be around the sports books. Last year i ended up losing like 400 on Michigan State (stomped by George Mason haha) so i hope they aren't still in the tourney while i am out there to tempt me to bet on them. Anyways I am just rambling on now so i have some errands to run and i will be back on later, hopefully with some results in the green. Here are a few hands so check back later and I'm out.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?786609 - played so bad

http://www.pokerhand.org/?786611 - played this hand so bad on the turn and made such a terrible call on the river i deserved to lose.

Day # 18

Today i played for around 5 hours and the session started off pretty bad. I played a few tournaments that started at 9 and 2 tables of 5/10. I played the 150 buy in and the 22+re buys and didn't cash in either of them. I started off pretty good in both and got pretty deep into both but busted out before cashing in either of them so it was pretty much a waste of time. I would've easily cashed in the 150 but of course my qq was no match against 88s all in preflop haha. I really do hate tournaments but i just know that if i would not get so unlucky all the time i could actually do pretty well in them. So i managed to bust out like 200th out of 1100 and that one only paid the top 150 so that sucked. In the 20 re buy i was card dead the whole time and couldn't really get anything going. The cash games i was playing were going pretty slow too and i was about to quit but started getting some cards and played for a few more hours. I was stuck about 1200 after 3 hours of play and then picked up a few nice pots over the last few hours and was able to get out of the red and into the green. I am really glad that i was able to turn it around today because today's session really feels like a losing one. You are going to have days and sometimes weeks like this where you are just card dead and you have to be able to just grind it out and pick good spots to try and pick up pots to stay a float. I don't really recall playing many pots but was somehow able to turn my deficit into a profit which is huge considering i really didn't play many hands and was down 1200 at one point. Anyways with that being said i am calling it a night, here are some hands from today and I'm out.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?782182 - pretty bad river card here for me and a pretty bad call of his reraise. I figured if i caught a diamond or the straight i would be good but once he reraised i knew i was beat. Thought about it for a while and paid him off anyways, bad call by me.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?782190 - pretty sick that once he calls the flop and checks the turn i actually have him on 44/33. So i checked the turn planning to just call off his river bet and i manage to get lucky in the process.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?782192 - just outflopped here nothing really else to say about it other than the fact i couldnt fold for 120 more on the flop.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?782196 - playing aces extremely slow here which is usually not a good idea but this guy was playing tight and once he reraised preflop i have him on a hand like qq/kk. I really hated that A on the flop because i thought for sure i wasnt going to make any money so i check two times to him hoping he does anything. Once he bets out that feeler bet on the turn i know if i just call i make no more money on the hand so i decide to put a big raise in there like i am raising with some type of draw or am trying to steal it from him. The river was a good card because it doesnt complete any drawing hands in his mind. So i thought for like 10 seconds and shoved all in hoping it would look like a bluff with a missed draw and it ended up working out.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?782203 - This hand i got pretty lucky on the flop here. Everytime i would raise he kept reraising me 80 more so im thinking if i finally come back over the top he will give me credit for a real hand and fold, which did not happen. So once he calls im thinking he has like ak/qq/maybe kk and luckily i hit a very nice flop. I throw out kind of a small bet hoping it looks weak like i have ak and really want him to come over the top here which he does not do. The turn card looked scary but really didnt scare me that much. Once he calls the flop i am putting him on ak and that turn did not help his hand. I thought about checking here and having him push but i really dont want it to go to a river card. So i push and unless he has qq he isnt calling in this spot. He mightve folded kk here but i think he had ak but who knows.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?782210 - not really a big pot but it was ok for A high. Im not going to brag haha....... but this was a pretty nice call.

Daily total- 329.34 (doesnt look like much but feels great after how card dead i was)

Fuck sony/Day 17 if you want to call it that.

Today i didn't really do anything in poker other than lose money. I didn't feel like playing at all but sat down for like an hour, played stupid, and lost money. I didn't want to play because i finally got my PS3 hooked up for online play and of course the piece of shit doesn't work. So i was checking online forums for help all day and finally just gave up on it. You would think by spending 600 on a system that things would run smoothly with it but of course Sony could never pull something like that off. I guess i am supposed to forward my router and change all these ip addresses which is absolutely stupid for Sony to expect someone who isn't a total computer geek how to do. Anyways i would suggest to anyone not to buy a PS3 i have had nothing but problems with this thing or at least wait until they come out with more systems that are updated and problem free. Like i said i didn't really play any poker but managed to hand out some money in the little time i did play. I don't really have any hands to put up and i guess the point of this post was pretty much to tell you that i fucking hate Sony. With that being said I'm out and check back tomorrow to see if i have played any poker and to see if my PS3 is still in 1 piece.

Daily total- 718.33 (stupid of me to even play today)

Day # 16

Today i really didn't accomplish anything that i wanted to in terms of poker. I did end up making money but i didn't play in any of the Sunday tournaments like i wanted to do. I planned on playing in the 530 buy in but by the time i woke up it was about to start and didn't feel like hopping right onto the computer. I was also going to play in the 215 second chance tourney but had to go out to eat so i missed that as well. Who knows it might have ended up being for the best anyways because i wasn't really in the poker mood at all today. I did play for around 3 hours, 3 tabling the 5/10nl on stars and ended up seeing around 500 hands. I wasn't really playing my A game but was able to pick up a few big hands and take down a few nice pots. I plan on putting together a 6+ hour session tomorrow so check back to see how that goes and I'm out.
Here are some hands from today's play.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?776373 -this was about a half hour into play and i was already down about 500 or else i wouldve probably called. I shouldnt let me being up or down have an effect on my decisions but it really did here. Also he had just had aces the hand before and unless he has a big pair i take the pot down right here on the flop. If i was up or even i would call in this spot but it was just enough to make me not want to gamble in this spot.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?776384 - Total idiot who was going all in like everyhand, lucky me.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?776381 - Same idiot from the last hand who was just handing out money at the table. He blew through about 4k in about a half hour including about 1700 to me.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?776386 -Thought about re raising again here preflop but decided to take a flop instead. I had him on around 10's/ak with his preflop raise and his bet on the flop so i figure i will put him to the test here and throw out a nice semi-bluff. Im assuming he had ak once he folded immediately on the flop or he was just on a total steal.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?776390 - just me having 288494 outs and missing everyone, pretty standard for me.

Day # 15

Today was the first day of online play since my trip to Vegas and I'm not going to lie i missed it. Playing live has its advantages but i really like online more than live play. When you play live you can see and talk to your competition which is a huge part of the game but i prefer online play by far. The reason i prefer online play is the fact that there is never any down time. By down time i mean there is never any waiting around for a hand and there is constant action. I cant stand sitting around waiting while some idiot is thinking for like 2 minutes over a 100 dollar pot when everyone at the table knows hes folding. Being able to talk with the other players is fun but I'm so used to the non stop action online that i cant stand how slow the live game is. Anyways with that being said i managed to put together a 6 hour session on a Saturday which is usually pretty hard to do. Today was a real roller coaster in poker terms. I started off up 1k then i was all of a sudden down 1k and then I managed to finish off the session pretty strong and was able to put up some nice results for my 1st day back. I plan on playing at least a few tournaments tomorrow so check back to see how that goes, here are some hands from today and I'm out.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?773759 - missed a river bet here
http://www.pokerhand.org/?773760 - love playing with idiots when my hands actually hold up
