Beat....

I havent really had time to post or play poker over the past few days so I'm giving a very quick post about where I've been. Between me being really busy the past few days and going to Toronto I'm just wiped out today. I went to Toronto when i was younger but this was the first time being there since being old enough to do cool stuff and its a really awesome city. My dad and i stayed up there for the night right off of yonge st.(main strip) and we had a great time barhopping haha. I really liked the feel of the city and it ALMOST kind of felt like i was in Vegas, just totally different compared to big u.s. cities I've been to. Anyways i am really tired from last night but i plan on getting in a good session tomorrow so check back for that and im out.

Almost forgot- that tournament i was still in the other night i ended up going out in 58th place out of like 1500 people which only paid like 160. It was a 11+re buys tourney and i was only in for 20 bucks so i guess that's ok but i was playing more for the practice before i go out to Vegas than the money. I'm kind of happy with the way i played but unless I'm making the final table of a tournament i think of anything less as a waste of time.

Day 20/Long day.....

Today was probably one of the longest days of poker that i have played(online) in a really long time. I didn't really play much nl cash games but played tons of plo and ran kind of deep into a few tournaments. The plo games were insane today with me having swings from being up 1500, down 800, and then back up again. After playing plo all day i decided to take a break from that and try to get a little tournament practice before Vegas. The tournaments i played in today were the 162, 22+ re buys, 109,11+re buys, and a 20 heads up tourney all on stars. I only managed to cash in 2 of the tournaments but i think i played pretty well and if a few of my hands held up i think i couldve easily cashed in 4 of them. I cashed in the 162 tournament for like 480 after finishing 38th out of 909 people which is okay but the 30k for 1st would be a lot nicer. The other tournament that i cashed in is the 11+ re buys which i am still playing in right now so lets hope i can finally take one of these down. There were 1600 people with first place paying 12k and we are down to like 220 right now with around an average chip stack. Well I'm going to concentrate on finishing this thing up and i will let you know tomorrow how i did. In case you were wondering what happened to my Sunday tournaments update i busted out of the 215 in about 10 minutes and just unregistered all my other tourneys and called it a day. Here are some of the hands from today and I'm out.

Weekend summary/Sunday tournaments

I only played for a few hours over the weekend but was still able to lose some good money haha. Friday i played some 5/10nl on bodog for a few hours and was playing really well but ended up down a few hundred. I made a pretty stupid call within like the first 10 minutes of sitting down which ended up costing me 1k. I was kind of in the mood to gamble and thought i had more outs than i did but i was wrong and it pretty much ruined any chance of me having a good session. So after starting off 1k in the hole i buckled down, played some good ABC/boring style of poker, and was able to almost get back to even. Yesterday i decided to play some 3/6 omaha on fulltilt and was playing well but kept getting river fucked. David Chiu and Aaron Bartley were at my table and for being the " Full tilt pros" i was not impressed with their games at all. I'm not saying that they are bad players but i definitely think i can and was holding my own against them. Unfortunately for me i guess having your name in red and being a "FT pro" means that you run like god and hit every draw you are chasing. After a few hours of getting sucked out on i decided to call it quits on FT with around a 1.5k loss, which sucks because i really felt i was playing good. Last night after about 20 beers and shots at thebar i decide that some 3/6 omaha on stars sounds like a good idea haha. I'm looking through the hand histories right now and it doesn't look like i played that bad and actually made around 700 in just over an hour. Anyways the Sunday tournaments are about to start so i have to cut this short, check back to later to see how i did today and I'm out.
