Poker Goal for the new year

I have been giving this some thought for a few weeks now and have came up with a poker goal for the new year. I wanted something that was going to be challenging but also not to difficult to achieve. So without further delay here is my 1st poker goal. I will be trying to make 40k in 100 days. I feel this goal is pretty realistic but at the same time not a walk in the park. I will be giving updates of my progress daily so be sure to check back on the 1st. seacrest out.

Busyyy

Due to the holidays i have been very busy and not playing poker. I have just had a lot going on and cant really find anytime to sit down and play for any amount of time. I really don't see myself getting any playing in until the new year. Festivus, my bday on the 27th, pistons game in a suite on the 29th, and new years will pretty much take up all my time. I think this might be a good thing for my game though. It will allow me to take a break and actually look forward to playing. As for the goal i haven't decided on anything yet but have a few plans I'm thinking about.
Anyways that is the run down on what i have been up and I'm out.

Bad play/bad day

I don't really have much to say other than i played horribly and ended up with bad results. I didn't play a long session i only played for a few hours and played horrible. I didn't have any patience to play and it really shows in my overall daily results. I came in raising a lot of hands and just kept running into people with big hands. Then when i picked up big hands i would get no action at all or get outdrawn so overall today was a blast haha. Going to take a break from playing tomorrow and try to clear my head and hopefully pull something together Thursday. It has been a while since i have played a session over 5 hours and i really want to come in fresh Thursday and destroy the tables haha. anyways i am out, check back Thursday.

PS3 is junk

I played poker for about 5 minutes today until i got the hook up on a PS3. The games are pretty sweet on there and the system is sweet except the piece of shit froze up like every 30 minutes. So i will be keeping it until Sony fixes the problem and comes out with new ones. So that was pretty much my day but tomorrow i am putting together a BIGGG session, since i just spent 1k for a paper weight. I did find out from Toshiba that they will be giving me a new plasma in place of my broke one so that was nice. Anyways I'm out and check back tomorrow.

Very uneventfull day

Today i attempted to play but just was so wore out from the weekend i quit. I didn't play any of the Sunday tourneys because i slept past there start time of 4 haha. This was probably for the best anyways since i really wasn't feeling poker at all. I played 2 tables at stars(10/20 and a 5/10) and i played 1 table of 5/10 on fulltilt. Pretty much played ABC poker for about 2 hours and couldn't get anything going/ couldn't focus enough to play well. I really only got involved in 1 key hand on stars which i played terribly and lost. On fulltilt i just grinded the 2 hours out and had an ok profit for playing only 2 hours of 1 table. No real big hands , just picking up a lot of small uncontested pots. I plan on putting together a big session tomorrow so i am going to try and go to sleep at an early time. With that being said here are a few hands and i am out.

My only big hand during my stars session and i played it pretty poorly. I was smooth calling the flop and saying to myself no heart and of course it came. I threw out a freeze bet on the turn which actually worked out but no help on the river. Me being STUPID at 4 am

once again i decided that i had some liquid courage and thought i was superman on the tables. For some stupid reason i decided to play a little session after a night of drinking and shots. Sick thing is i actually feel like i didnt play that bad just ran into a few hands i couldnt get away from. Oh yeah, i decided it would be a good idea to play 25/50 nl while i was playing instead of my usual 5/10. I have played 25/50 before but i need to get like a breathalizer on my comp so i cant play these limits wasted. I did manage to win/lose the biggest pots of my life but there is no way i should have been playing. I made some ok money but feel retarded for playing these limits while wasted. I feel i played pretty well just ran into a few big hands i couldnt get off of, that being said im installing a breathalizer as we speak.....

1st day of play since the blog

Today i played for about 3 hours on stars and ft. I did ok on ft considering the fact i didnt really play that long and i only played 1 table of 5/10 on there. I played about 200 hands there and ended up almost 1k so thats not bad. Stars on the other hand was a mess. I was playing 3 tables of 5/10 and played about 600 hands. The reason i say it was a mess, is due to the fact that after about 30 minutes i was stuck for about 1300.00. I really think i was playing impatient and trying to push some hands that i shouldnt have. So i decided to tighten up and play ABC poker from there on out. I didnt really get involved in that many big pots in this session but i will post a few from stars and ft. I ended up crawling out of the red and back into the green for a small profit on stars. I am actually pretty happy that i didnt tilt after the first half hour and was able to continue to play my game even though the cards werent falling my way. Anyways, i was able to squeek a small profit out on stars and finish the session in the green side. I still am unsure of a goal but i am leaning towards a certain amount, in a certain amount of time goal. Here are some hands from today. Constructing My Blog

I have been working on this damn thing for hours now so i hope that you all enjoy it. This is still a work in progress but i feel that it's coming along OK so far. Any feedback of the site or ideas to add to the site would be appreciated. I am currently thinking of a poker goal to set for the new year to really take my game to the next level in the upcoming new year. I mainly play cash games on pokerstars and fulltilt, i play 5/10 and 10/20nl. I am thinking of something along the lines of 50k in 100 days, or 25k in 50 days, or possibly something involving tournaments. I have never done one of these goals before and want to start off with something pretty realistic. Any suggestions on a goal would be much appreciated. Well i have until the 1st to figure something out until then i will be recording my daily results, as well as posting some hand histories. Might take a few days to get used to this thing but i will try my best.
