I am looking for new goal ideas so whoever can come up with the best idea will get 20$. I plan on starting this goal at the beginning of May and i think 3 days should be enough to come up with something. As for goal guidelines I am really up for anything. I did the 40k in 100 days playing cash games so i guess that could be something to build your ideas from. I will choose the winner on May 1st and will send you 20 dollars on your choice of full tilt or pokerstars. Good luck and talk to you on the 1st.

Play every nightly 50 dollar 25k gtd tournament on stars for May after setting goals beforehand like making the cash in 8/24 tournaments (no tournaments on Sundays), making 2 final tables, etc. You can also do the same thing with the nightly 100k tournament if you feel comfortable playing it though the cost for the nightly 100k for a month would be about 4,000.

you can try somethin new like maybe learning another game try to make 5k in 3 diffrent games in a month (stud limit holdem 08 etc) just a suggestion

What you could try doing is running with say $50 or even lower.. within a week's period and try to get to a highest point and blog it. I know most peoples dream is throwing in $50 jumping in a ring game or a big mtt and winning first and having over 1K-3K within a week so u could try doing that

Try a 4 buy in challenge - i.e start at the $25NL game with $100, once you get to $200 move up to $50 NL..etc..etc. move back down if you drop 2 buy-ins ..see how far up you can go in 100 days ..call it the "fuck bankroll management challenge".

See if you can win $1k (or some other arbitrary amount) by playing blind. Would be fun and is also pretty educational because it really helps to hone reads on players and not focus on cards. Put tape or a stickie over your monitor and go crazy. :)

Much greater accomplishment since the competition is supposedly tougher at the higher levels.

Here is a crazy idea. Play the 1st week of may without looking at your hole cards. Simply playing off feel and reads. Try and have a winning week without seeing your cards. Insane but something that could make the game very interesting and teach you alot about yourself and your opponents. Probably should move down to like 1-2 but an idea.

here is your next challenge...to see how much of a well-rounded player you are, this will be a 90-day challenge. The stakes you choose to play are irrelevant. For the first 30 days play only cash games, for the next 30 days play only SNGs, and the lsat 30 days play only MTTs. You can do it in any order you want, but you get the idea. this will allow you to see how you stack up against all types of players. I am K1d_Gr1nD on stars
how about a different games challenge? set a time span and goal, and see if you can achieve by only playing non-holdem cash games. i.e. $25k in 100 days playing Pot Limit Omaha. You could also consider HORSE if you have experience with stud games. lindscas on stars

Start with $675 and play the $27 turbo SNGs until you get $1500, then the $55 turbos until you get $2850, then $114 turbos until you get $5625, then the $225 turbos until you get $8375, then the $335 turbos until $13875, then the $555 turbos until $27500, then the $1100 turbos until you get to $54750 at which point you play the $2190 turbos until you get to $100,000.
That gives you 25 buy-ins per level.
You could either set a goal to just see how high up the ladder you can get by a certian date (say from May 1 to June 1), or just try to make it to the top by the end of the year.

like a post on 2p2, this guy has been trying to accomplish his goal of 500 to 200k in 2 months, as long as the 500 isnt life changing for you, take a look into it, he said he was using the brian townsend strategy, which im not sure of, but i think it was about moving up once you have about 6 or 8 buyins for the next level in your br. so far he's about 40 percent of the way there, and its pretty cool to see how the graph keeps going up and up.
take a look into what i just said and hopefully this'll influence you enough to give it a try, and juding by your sucess on what you just did, this is definitely possible as well.

im from P5's. i think you should make it a goal to win one big monthly tournament on fulltilt as well as pokerstars by satteliting in. but you dont have to achieve a first place just say a win in the big tournaments counts as cashing for 5k or more. also you can only try to satellite into each tournament 3 times before you've failed. if you choose my idea please ship the 20$ to auspiciousa on fulltilt
