I am officially back from my break! I played for like a hour Thursday but nothing really happened so yesterday i played my first official session since the break and put up some pretty good numbers. I am playing right now so this post is going to be really short until after i finish. I only played on both full tilt and pokerstars for like 3 hours but was able to finish with a good profit for playing so short. Anyways here are my results from yesterday and check back later to see how i finished today. I will post hands later.

My return to the ring....
As I'm sure many of you have noticed i haven't posted in a while and that is because i haven't been playing any poker. I was running/playing pretty bad there last week and i decided to just take a few days away from poker to clear my head. I went cold turkey for the past 5 days from poker and really hope that the break will get my game back on track and actually make me excited to play rather than look at playing as a daily grind. My plan was to get a good session in today but i had to much running around to do so i am going to make my Ali like return to the felt tomorrow. So with that being said I'm going to watch Lost and check back tomorrow to see if i can get this goal back on track.

Day # 42....The losing streak continues.
Well today was supposed to be the day that i turned things around but that just didn't happen. I lost another good amount today and have extended my losing streak to 4 days now. It really sucks because i am a little behind pace now on the goal and lets face it, losing 7k in 4 days isn't very fun haha. Today was pretty much more of the same,running bad, getting out drawn, not hitting any draws, and running into huge hands. It does suck but to tell you the truth i really haven't had a bad streak like this in a while and i almost felt that it was due. Today i really feel like i was playing great but every time i would start to get anything going i would lose a huge pot and be in the negative again. The thing that really sucks about being in a streak like this is the fact that it really changes the way i play. When i pick up a big hand now i play scared like i am going to lose the pot no matter what and that is just not a good way to play/make money. So hopefully this ends tomorrow and i can get back on the right track with the goal. Well that sums up my shitty day on the tables, i don't feel like going over hands from today, and I'm out.

Day # 41..... Another bad session
Today I had another pretty bad session making it 3 losing sessions in a row. I don't really think i played all that bad today just was on the losing end of every big pot i was in and was getting drawn out on a lot. It definitely sucks because i was cruising right along with the goal but after today i am about back on pace instead of way ahead. I cant really think of anything i have been doing different the last 3 days that have led to my losses other than the fact i have lost every big pot i have been involved in. I have a lot of stuff that i need to do tomorrow so i am not sure if i will play or not and i think that taking a day off might be good right now. I say that now but i will probably end up playing tomorrow so who knows we will see how that goes. Anyways here are some hands from today's bad session and I'm out.

Day # 40...
Today i was planning on playing in some of the big Sunday tournaments but didn't play in any of them. I really wasn't in the tournament mood and it was a 530 buy in today on pokerstars instead of the usual 215. Also i just don't think that my tournament game is good enough right now to be playing in that high of a buy in. Instead i played about 5 hours of cash games on both sites and did ok on full tilt and pretty bad on pokerstars. I played like an hour of 25/50 to start on stars which i couldn't get anything going so i quit that game down about 2k. So once i started playing 5/10 it was like i was starting off in the hole and i really think it effected the way i played. Also i kind of felt like i was just going through the motions today instead of really having my total focus on my play. I was making bad calls, running into some big hands, and just wasn't able to get any kind of momentum going. I hope tomorrow i can really focus on my play and put together a winning session to make up for the past 2 days. Day 39... I played amazing and ended up down 1k, I love Full Tilt.
This post was from my play on Friday but by the time i was done i didn't feel like doing it so i will now. I played for about 3 hours Friday only playing on full tilt and i put up some pretty good numbers until i got raped. I played 3 tables on fulltilt(2,5/10nl and a 3/6nl) and i was playing pretty good. I was picking off peoples bluffs, picking up a lot of pots, and just really seemed like i couldn't do anything wrong, i was in the zone. But you might have just noticed how i said i was playing good until i got raped and i will tell you all about that in a second. When i quit my 3 hour session of playing the 5/10 and 3/6 i was up about 2400 and was done for the day with a nice profit, i thought i was done. So after drinking for a while we are about to go to the bar and i had like 10 minutes to kill so i decide that i am going to sit at 25/50 and just steal some blinds to make a few hundred more. After a few minutes of this i was up like 200 and we hadn't had a hand go to the flop yet until i picked up KK. I was about to just quit until i pick up KK and i manage to double up for 5k, so after this i cant just get up and leave because now I'm free rolling and still have a few minutes til we leave. He grinds a little of his money back and then the sickest pot of the night came up which obviously i lost. Anyways long story short i went from being up 2400 on the day to being down about 1k in the matter of about 10 minutes. It does suck knowing all my "hard" work from earlier was now cancelled out but i played the hands perfect and of course in true Full Tilt fashion got sucked out on. I didn't play at all on Saturday because i was pretty hung over but i am going to play in a few of the big tournaments today and hopefully get something going in them. Day # 38
Tonight instead of going out i decided to play some poker instead. Im pretty sure i didnt miss anything to exciting in crazy port huron and i doubt i will get to play very much this weekend so i figured it was a good idea. I only managed to play for around 4 hours on fulltilt and pokerstars. I started off by playing 4 tables on pokerstars (3, 5/10nl and a 3/6nl) and finished off my session by playing 2, 5/10nl tables on full tilt. I didnt really pick up any big pots today but was still able to put up some ok numbers on both sites. For some strange reason both of the websites were pretty dead today and there werent many games going like there usually is. I hope it was just a slow day and that we arent starting to see the effects of neteller shutting down to the u.s. customers. Anyways i dont really have much more to say about todays play so here are some hands from today and im out. I might be going to michigan state tomorrow to see the crazys so if i dont post anything check back saturday or sunday.

Once i bet he called immediately so the play worked perfect. Im not saying to slow play but sometimes in certain spots you have to in order to get maximum value out of your hands.

I know if i hit the 10 or the 6 i am going to bust him so im getting huge implied odds which means i am really calling the 140 with the expectation of winning 1k if i hit my draw. This guy was a calling station and i know if i turn the 6 or 10 all the money will get in the middle because hes not folding his kk or whatever he had. Unfortunately i missed the turn and i just cant continue anymore with this hand after he bets the turn.

Day # 37/yesterdays session/ i hate omaha
I dont really feel like posting anything so this is going to be very short. I only played poker for about 2 hours yesterday and had some pretty good results in the short time. I played a couple short stacked guys heads up on fulltilt and busted both of them for about 600. I also played a couple tables of 5/10 nl on stars and didnt really pick up any big hands but i was able to grind out a nice profit of about 800. So i quit playing so i could drink some beer and watch the wings game and Lost but after those were over i stupidly decided to play some omaha. This was a bad idea because i pretty much ended up losing all of my profit on the day. I played 5/10 omaha and of course i made a sick call on this guy, got all in with the best hand, and of course got rivered for about 1k. So i guess it wasnt really a bad idea to play drunk because i didnt do anything stupid i just got unlucky so thats ok i guess. Anyways im not sure if im going to play tonight or go out so check back later im out.

Day # 36....
Today was a really good day for me especially in poker. I was able to put together around a 7 hour session and was able to put up some good numbers on both stars and full tilt. Pokerstars started off pretty rocky and really stayed that way the whole time i played there. It seemed like every time i bet i was getting raised, every time i called i was losing, and every time i bluffed i was getting called. I wasn't really getting much going but luckily i was able to win a couple big pots which allowed me to have a winning session and sometimes that's all it takes. I'm not happy with my play at all today on pstars but the results are nice for really playing bad and running bad today. Full tilt was pretty much a roller coaster ride today. I played 2 tables of 5/10 nl and the tables were really playing pretty weak like they usually are. The reason i say it was a roller coaster is because i was up like 1500, then all of a sudden down 500, and finally i was able to get on a nice run before i logged off. The caliber of play on ft is so much weaker than on pstars it is amazing. Like i said before i really think i can make some serious money in the 5/10 on full tilt just as long as my hands hold up. Which with full tilt you never know whats going to happen when you get your money all in as a favorite, Full tilt has way more bad beats than on pokerstars its sick. Day # 35
Today i had a lot of running around to do and didn't get to play barely any poker. I started playing and within like an hour of playing i just realized that i was in no mood to play. I played 2 5/10nl tables and one 25/50nl table on stars, thats right i said 25/50 haha. I was waiting to get on another 5/10 table and i noticed that the 25/50 table looked extremely weak so i sat down there instead. I only played up there for about a half hour so i didn't really get involved in any big pots while playing there. I only played for a half hour because after like only 15 minutes of playing there like 3 of the top players on stars/online decided to join the table so i figured i should quit. Although I did manage to make a little bit of a profit for not really playing at all today. I am planning on putting together a 6+ hour session tomorrow so check back to see how that goes. Day # 34
I am pretty tired so this is going to be a pretty short post. I played in the Sunday tournament and finished like 830th or something which was good enough to get in the money but was really a waste of time. I think i made like 60 bucks or something for the 4 hours of time i put into the tournament. I was just going to quit after the tournament but decided to sit down at a 5/10nl table and a 10/20nl table and it was a pretty bad idea. I lost like 2k pretty quick, my hands weren't holding up, so i decided to cut my losses after a while. With that being said I'm calling it a night and hope to rebound back tomorrow after having like 3 losing days in a row. Here are a few hands from today and I'm out.

It was a long weekend so i didnt have anytime to post anything but i did play a little friday and saturday so i am posting about it now. I only played for like an hour on friday and nothing really happened in that hour to talk about. Saturday was a different story, i played for like 3 hours,was playing really aggressive and within the first hour i was down about 2k. Instead of quiting i decided to slow down and try to get back to even but came up short after the 3 hours. It is sunday right now and im playing in the big 215 buy in tournament on stars so i hope to at least cash in it. There are like 3000 players left out of the 6500, im in 1600th position out of the 3000 so if i double up i should be able to at least cash. The tourney pays the top 900 players and first prize is 190,000. With that being said i am going to get back to the tourney so check back later tonight to see how i did and when i am 190,000 richer haha.

Day # 31
Today i only played for a few hours so this will be a short post. I had some pretty good results in the little amount of time i actually played. I wasn't even going to play at all today but i figured i would play in a few tournaments while i was sitting around. So my plan was to play 10/20nl for like a half hour to win money to pay for my tournaments and a half hour later i am up about 1k, not bad. So i quit playing the 10/20 when the tournaments started which was a big mistake because i absolutely sucked in the tournaments and the 10/20 game was pretty weak. I busted out of the tournaments about an hour and a half in so i decided rather that quit playing i would try some more pot limit Omaha. I played the 3/6 game which was playing pretty soft and i was picking up some good hands so i was able to turn my 600 into about 1100 after a few hours. Unfortunately i was playing on my laptop and i cant transfer over the hand histories to my desktop so i cant post any of my hands from today. Well that pretty much sums up my short session from today so with that being said goodnight and I'm out

Day # 30
Today was an ok day for poker and a SPECTACULAR valentines day. I had such a great time because i was able to spend the day with my true love, Jinx haha. We had some pretty fancy dining which included some cold pizza and fancy feast haha. Anyways enough bragging about my day and onto some poker talk. I didn't really play as much today as i really wanted to. I had the dumb idea of sitting down at 5/10 Pot limit Omaha which i couldn't believe how bad the players were at that level. When i say dumb idea i don't mean i was playing bad but i just don't think i know enough about the game to playing that high yet. But i was really in shock of how bad the players were at that high of stakes. I was cruising along up a couple hundred in the game then i got totally fucked over in a big pot so i decided to quit playing. I got all in on the turn with the nut flush and the other guy rivered out a straight flush on me it was so sick. He hit his 1 outer for about a 1k pot which pissed me off so i quit before i started playing stupid. Losing the money didn't make me mad it was the fact that i was playing so well and if i would've won that pot i know i would've ran that table over. So i will probably be trying out some more Omaha in the future but who knows i think i should read up on it a bit more first. Luckily i know how to play no limit and was able to win my money back within a few hours. I was able to turn an ok profit for only playing a few hours and starting off down 800. Well i just finished playing in the 20 heads up tourney that i said i would play in until i won and i just finished 2nd, so stupid. Yeah it did pay like 540 or something but to get that far and not win is a huge let down. I am so mad i don't even really feel like talking about today's play anymore so here are a few hands and I'm out.

Day # 29....COLD
Well it was extremely cold outside today and on days like these i am so glad that i don't have a job haha. I didn't play as much as i would've liked to today but i did still manage to get in about 5 hours of play. I played 1 5/10nl table on fulltilt, 3 5/10nl tables on stars, a little 10/20nl on stars, some .50/1 Omaha, and a few tournaments. It was a pretty hectic 5 hours to say the least. I had some pretty good results on both sites for the short amount of time that i played. I really hate full tilt with a passion but the 5/10 games are pretty soft during the day and i think they are pretty profitable as long as my hands hold up. I was lucky enough to pick up a few big hands on ft against some idiots who don't know how to fold so i was able to make some decent money on there today. As far as Stars goes it was really an up and down day. I started off playing some 10/20 and was up like 1200 real quick but then ran into a few big hands and ended up breaking even in the game. I quit playing the 10/20 after a few hours because a lot of the 25/50 players were joining the table and there is no point playing against a bunch of really solid players. So i started fooling around at Omaha and made like 200 which isn't bad for playing only .50/1. I really like playing Omaha but i just don't think i am good enough at it yet to play for any real stakes. I really am going to read up and try to become a good Omaha player as well because it is fun to play something different other than no limit all the time. I also played in the 20 heads up tourney again that i took 2nd in like a week ago and this tournament field is so weak. I ended up taking 9th out of like 205 people but i am not happy with my results at all. I think i won like 70 bucks or something but the competition is so soft i feel like i shouldve won this tournament. The top prize for the tourney is usually around 1k and with the field being so soft i am going to keep playing this tourney every night until i win it. Day # 28 Amazing what can be accomplished in a day when waking up before 3.
Today i was able to put together a pretty lengthy session playing for around 7 hours which is the most i have played in a while. I played the 7 hours in 2 different sessions of about 3 and a half hours each with a hour dinner break in between. The first session i was playing two 5/10nl tables on stars and 1 5/10 nl table on full tilt. I was totally card dead on stars and was really lucky to be up a little bit after the first 3 and half hours. Full tilt was a different story though i was running pretty good and for once my big hands weren't getting drawn out on. I was starting to lose focus after about 4 hours primarily due to the fact i wasn't really getting any cards on stars so i decided it was a good time for a dinner break. So after the first 4 hours i was up about 2400 on full tilt and up like 50 bucks or something on stars haha. While i was eating some crappy hot dogs (how a baller enjoys fine dining haha) i was watching High Stakes Poker and for anyone who hasnt seen this show yet i highly recommend it. It is on the game show network Monday's at 8 and is by far the best poker show on TV. While watching this i was going to play in some tournaments that started at 9 and that was supposed to be the last of my poker for the night, supposed to be. I got in 4 tournaments in which i couldn't get anything going in any of them and was out of all 4 of them by 1030. My plan was to at least get deep in a few of these and call it a night but after sucking so bad in all of them i decided to play some more cash games. I only played on Stars this time due to the fact that the 5/10 games on full tilt looked pretty tough at the time. So i played 3 tables of 5/10nl and a 10/20 nl table on stars for about 3 hours. The 10/20 game was pretty weak so i was able to have some nice results there and i was also playing/running pretty well on the 5/10 tables too. Well that pretty much sums up my day as far as poker goes so i am going to get some sleep and try to put together another nice session tomorrow. Here are some hands for you and I'm out.

I really haven't been in the mood to post anything over the past few days so i am doing it now. I played for about 3 hours on Saturday and had some decent results making around 600. I played in a VIP free roll tournament which paid the winner 10,000 but busted out in like 50th place or something. There were like 800 players and i really couldve made the final table had my AK all in preflop vs. AQ would've held up, but obviously a Q hit the flop and i lost. As for yesterday i played for around 5 hours and just couldn't get anything going. I played in the big Sunday 215 buy in tournament on stars for the first time in a while but it was a big waste of time. There were about 6500 players paying the top 1080 and i busted out in like 1500th place so it was a waste of time. Also in the cash games i couldn't really get much going and when i did i would get involved in a big pot which i seemed to lose every time. Yesterdays play/Day # 25
This is going to be a pretty short post so here goes. I played for about 3 hours and was immediately down about 900 dollars after the first half hour. I was playing this idiot heads up and he was just hitting every card against so he took about 900 off me. Then i played 3 full tables and won some nice pots/lost some big pots that really prevented me from making any money. So as hard as i tried to get back to even i came up a little short but thats ok after being down 900 to start. I also played in the 20 dollar heads up tourney that i took 2nd in the day before and managed to finish 11th this time but it only paid like 60 bucks so it was pretty much a waste of time. Day #24/ 1st real session since Vegas
Today i finally managed to get together a session that was longer than 2 hours. I played for about 8 hours and had some pretty good results to show for it. I played about 4 hours of cash games seeing around 600 hands and the other 4 hours was in a tournament. The cash games i played were 3 tables of 5/10 nl and 2 tables of 10/20nl on stars. I played pretty well in the 5/10 games and picked up some big hands for some nice pots and in the 10/20 i played well on one table but bad on another. I am pretty mad about the 10/20 because the table i did bad on was really soft and i just wasn't able to get anything going on there. I quit playing cash games around 8 to watch the red wings game and Lost but decided to get in a 20 dollar heads up tourney. I really got in this tourney just kind of as a joke and kind of just something to do while sitting on the couch watching TV. There were 189 people in the tournament and it paid the top 32 players. Spots 32-16 only made like 50 and 16-8 paid like 110 so in my mind it would really be pointless unless i finished in the top 8. Top prize was like 980 and second was 540 then spots 5-8 got paid 250. So with that being said i ended up taking 2nd overall but really really really wanted to take the first. I guess its ok to make while killing time watching tv though haha. That was probably the worst competition i have faced in a long time though, it was like i was playing against monkeys haha. Anyways i am going to get some sleep and hope to get together another good session tomorrow I'm out. Day # 23
Well today i played poker for the first time in a while and had some okay results. I played 2 tables of 5/10nl and 1 table of 10/20 and was absolutely card dead. Today was a really boring day of cards. I don't think i played any big pots and it really felt like i was just sitting around getting blinded away. I did only play for like 3.5 hours but after hitting the fold button 84940934 million times it felt like an eternity. I have been really slacking off the past week on this goal and really plan on playing a lot over the next few weeks. I was on a pretty good pace before going to Vegas and it seems like since i have been back i haven't been able to get a single good session in. I am for sure going to play at least 6 hours through the next 3 days and hope to get back ahead of schedule for the goal. Right now i am right on pace to break it in 100 days but i was really hoping that i could do it before that. With that being said i am going to get some rest so check back tomorrow and I'm out. http://www.pokerhand.org/?800935 - Interesting hand here against a super aggressive player. His bet on the river is a total bluff that he missed on or is a real big hand. I took time and thought forever on the river but finally folded because i have seen him make this bet many times with huge hands so i decided to let it go.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?800944 - another hand against the same player that i was not going to fold. I knew if i kept checking to him he would just keep firing at it on the flop and turn. I was planning on betting the river but there would be really no point because i didn't have him on an A and he wont call with anything unless i am beat and also i give him another chance to bluff on the river.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?800949 - I really have him on a hand like aj/aq when he pushes here so i call. He could have a mid pair here but if so than i am about 50/50 anyways so i call.
