Day # 40...

Today i was planning on playing in some of the big Sunday tournaments but didn't play in any of them. I really wasn't in the tournament mood and it was a 530 buy in today on pokerstars instead of the usual 215. Also i just don't think that my tournament game is good enough right now to be playing in that high of a buy in. Instead i played about 5 hours of cash games on both sites and did ok on full tilt and pretty bad on pokerstars. I played like an hour of 25/50 to start on stars which i couldn't get anything going so i quit that game down about 2k. So once i started playing 5/10 it was like i was starting off in the hole and i really think it effected the way i played. Also i kind of felt like i was just going through the motions today instead of really having my total focus on my play. I was making bad calls, running into some big hands, and just wasn't able to get any kind of momentum going. I hope tomorrow i can really focus on my play and put together a winning session to make up for the past 2 days. Anyways i am pretty tired from the weekend so here are some hands from today and I'm out.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?856593 - pretty nice bluff here. I know he has ak and have played with him many times before and i was pretty sure i could get him to fold here by pushing the river. He said after the hand he did have ak but thought i had qq which i would play the same way and he knows that.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?856596 - had him on a hand like aq or some type of draw with his big raise. I come over the top to make it look like i have a real strong hand and once he called i knew i wasnt getting him to go away. With his bet on the turn being so small i think he had 89 on this spot.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?856600 - Here i make the worst call i have made in a while on the river. I went with my read but still i am only beating a bluff here and i really shouldve folded. Just bad play by me.
