Well it was extremely cold outside today and on days like these i am so glad that i don't have a job haha. I didn't play as much as i would've liked to today but i did still manage to get in about 5 hours of play. I played 1 5/10nl table on fulltilt, 3 5/10nl tables on stars, a little 10/20nl on stars, some .50/1 Omaha, and a few tournaments. It was a pretty hectic 5 hours to say the least. I had some pretty good results on both sites for the short amount of time that i played. I really hate full tilt with a passion but the 5/10 games are pretty soft during the day and i think they are pretty profitable as long as my hands hold up. I was lucky enough to pick up a few big hands on ft against some idiots who don't know how to fold so i was able to make some decent money on there today. As far as Stars goes it was really an up and down day. I started off playing some 10/20 and was up like 1200 real quick but then ran into a few big hands and ended up breaking even in the game. I quit playing the 10/20 after a few hours because a lot of the 25/50 players were joining the table and there is no point playing against a bunch of really solid players. So i started fooling around at Omaha and made like 200 which isn't bad for playing only .50/1. I really like playing Omaha but i just don't think i am good enough at it yet to play for any real stakes. I really am going to read up and try to become a good Omaha player as well because it is fun to play something different other than no limit all the time. I also played in the 20 heads up tourney again that i took 2nd in like a week ago and this tournament field is so weak. I ended up taking 9th out of like 205 people but i am not happy with my results at all. I think i won like 70 bucks or something but the competition is so soft i feel like i shouldve won this tournament. The top prize for the tourney is usually around 1k and with the field being so soft i am going to keep playing this tourney every night until i win it. Day # 28 Amazing what can be accomplished in a day when waking up before 3.
Today i was able to put together a pretty lengthy session playing for around 7 hours which is the most i have played in a while. I played the 7 hours in 2 different sessions of about 3 and a half hours each with a hour dinner break in between. The first session i was playing two 5/10nl tables on stars and 1 5/10 nl table on full tilt. I was totally card dead on stars and was really lucky to be up a little bit after the first 3 and half hours. Full tilt was a different story though i was running pretty good and for once my big hands weren't getting drawn out on. I was starting to lose focus after about 4 hours primarily due to the fact i wasn't really getting any cards on stars so i decided it was a good time for a dinner break. So after the first 4 hours i was up about 2400 on full tilt and up like 50 bucks or something on stars haha. While i was eating some crappy hot dogs (how a baller enjoys fine dining haha) i was watching High Stakes Poker and for anyone who hasnt seen this show yet i highly recommend it. It is on the game show network Monday's at 8 and is by far the best poker show on TV. While watching this i was going to play in some tournaments that started at 9 and that was supposed to be the last of my poker for the night, supposed to be. I got in 4 tournaments in which i couldn't get anything going in any of them and was out of all 4 of them by 1030. My plan was to at least get deep in a few of these and call it a night but after sucking so bad in all of them i decided to play some more cash games. I only played on Stars this time due to the fact that the 5/10 games on full tilt looked pretty tough at the time. So i played 3 tables of 5/10nl and a 10/20 nl table on stars for about 3 hours. The 10/20 game was pretty weak so i was able to have some nice results there and i was also playing/running pretty well on the 5/10 tables too. Well that pretty much sums up my day as far as poker goes so i am going to get some sleep and try to put together another nice session tomorrow. Here are some hands for you and I'm out.

I really haven't been in the mood to post anything over the past few days so i am doing it now. I played for about 3 hours on Saturday and had some decent results making around 600. I played in a VIP free roll tournament which paid the winner 10,000 but busted out in like 50th place or something. There were like 800 players and i really couldve made the final table had my AK all in preflop vs. AQ would've held up, but obviously a Q hit the flop and i lost. As for yesterday i played for around 5 hours and just couldn't get anything going. I played in the big Sunday 215 buy in tournament on stars for the first time in a while but it was a big waste of time. There were about 6500 players paying the top 1080 and i busted out in like 1500th place so it was a waste of time. Also in the cash games i couldn't really get much going and when i did i would get involved in a big pot which i seemed to lose every time. So when i busted out of the tourney i decided to cut my losses of around 1k and call it a day. I am playing right now and will be posting today's results later so check back for that and I'm out. Yesterdays play/Day # 25
This is going to be a pretty short post so here goes. I played for about 3 hours and was immediately down about 900 dollars after the first half hour. I was playing this idiot heads up and he was just hitting every card against so he took about 900 off me. Then i played 3 full tables and won some nice pots/lost some big pots that really prevented me from making any money. So as hard as i tried to get back to even i came up a little short but thats ok after being down 900 to start. I also played in the 20 dollar heads up tourney that i took 2nd in the day before and managed to finish 11th this time but it only paid like 60 bucks so it was pretty much a waste of time. Day #24/ 1st real session since Vegas
Today i finally managed to get together a session that was longer than 2 hours. I played for about 8 hours and had some pretty good results to show for it. I played about 4 hours of cash games seeing around 600 hands and the other 4 hours was in a tournament. The cash games i played were 3 tables of 5/10 nl and 2 tables of 10/20nl on stars. I played pretty well in the 5/10 games and picked up some big hands for some nice pots and in the 10/20 i played well on one table but bad on another. I am pretty mad about the 10/20 because the table i did bad on was really soft and i just wasn't able to get anything going on there. I quit playing cash games around 8 to watch the red wings game and Lost but decided to get in a 20 dollar heads up tourney. I really got in this tourney just kind of as a joke and kind of just something to do while sitting on the couch watching TV. There were 189 people in the tournament and it paid the top 32 players. Spots 32-16 only made like 50 and 16-8 paid like 110 so in my mind it would really be pointless unless i finished in the top 8. Top prize was like 980 and second was 540 then spots 5-8 got paid 250. So with that being said i ended up taking 2nd overall but really really really wanted to take the first. I guess its ok to make while killing time watching tv though haha. That was probably the worst competition i have faced in a long time though, it was like i was playing against monkeys haha. Anyways i am going to get some sleep and hope to get together another good session tomorrow I'm out. Day # 23
Well today i played poker for the first time in a while and had some okay results. I played 2 tables of 5/10nl and 1 table of 10/20 and was absolutely card dead. Today was a really boring day of cards. I don't think i played any big pots and it really felt like i was just sitting around getting blinded away. I did only play for like 3.5 hours but after hitting the fold button 84940934 million times it felt like an eternity. I have been really slacking off the past week on this goal and really plan on playing a lot over the next few weeks. I was on a pretty good pace before going to Vegas and it seems like since i have been back i haven't been able to get a single good session in. I am for sure going to play at least 6 hours through the next 3 days and hope to get back ahead of schedule for the goal. Right now i am right on pace to break it in 100 days but i was really hoping that i could do it before that. With that being said i am going to get some rest so check back tomorrow and I'm out. I have fallen into my old ways of not having time to play due to my drinking. I didnt play yesterday or today due to the fact it was the weekend and i dont wake up before 2. Today was the STUPER bowl and it was fucking awesome as usual. We had a party and by the end of the 3rd quarter it was pretty much a total gong show. I didnt even want to bet on the game but ended up betting 50 on the colts just to make it interesting to watch. I knew the colts would win but i really didnt think they would cover the spread of 7 so it was pretty sweet that i won a big 50 bucks, ballllinnnnnnnnnnnn haha. Rex gossman shouldve been thje mvp of the game he is such a piece of shit and completely fucking sucked just like i figured he would. haha i am being stupid blastign techno at like 4 on a sunday morning and i fucking love it.. I was really drunk and about to pass about but now im fucking rocking and might get on Stars and hand out some money haha. I just got into my techno playlist so i will probably be up til tuesdayhaha, download some benny benassi immediately and some old schoold MJ and some ricky james to get shit poppin aka my favorite song, give it to me baby..anyways i am drunk and i plan on getting this blog back on track within a few days so check back for that and im out......... and by out i mean i am probably going to play a few tables and hand out money.

Day # 20/Early post
I am posting this now because i don't know if i will be playing anymore today and probably wont get around to posting later. Today was another short session and i actually played on Full tilt for the first time in a while. I haven't played on there since i got really drunk one night and lost like 4k on there. This was around Christmas time so my money has been just sitting on there since then. I was actually thinking about cashing the 3k i have left on there out but since Neteller has been shut down to the U.S. that's not possible now. So i guess i will just keep it on there and hopefully keep building it up or i will keep it on there until it is gone. The neteller shutdown has a lot of people in the online poker community going crazy. By going crazy i mean there are a lot of people who are going into panic mode and withdrawing all their money off the poker sites. But at the same time if i had 80k in my neteller account and was being told by neteller my funds were seized and couldn't withdraw my money i would be going a little crazy too. Neteller shutting down sucks because this is the 1st big step by the government in actually trying to shut down online poker. It also sucks because there will be less dead money putting money on to their accounts, which means the games will become a lot tougher. I am not too worried over the neteller shutdown because it doesn't effect me in anyway but it sucks for the people who left large amounts of money on there. Luckily, most of my online money is on stars and i feel confident that even if online poker did some how shutdown in the future i would still get my money from them. They were one of the only online sites that didn't leave the u.s. market when the online gaming ban was passed and they are by far the best site when it comes to customer support. Well that is a little update on whats going on with neteller and my thoughts on the whole ordeal. Anyways enough about that lets talk about today's session. As i said earlier i played 1 table of 5/10nl on Full tilt and 2 tables on pokerstars a 5/10nl table and some 10/20nl. I only played for a couple of hours but had some ok results on all three tables. I shouldve made a lot more on fulltilt but of course i flop a set and the guy turns a higher set on a 3 way all in hand on the flop. Day # 19
Today i didn't play any poker at all. I had somethings to do and had a raging headache all day so i wasn't able to find any time to play. I did pick up the hd cable for my ps3 and after all of the Sony bashing i have been doing i would have to say these are probably the best games i have ever seen. The tiger woods game, NHL, and Resistance game are amazing in hd and now i have gone from possibly taking my ps3 back to thinking its the best game system ever. Anyways i am going to try and sleep off this headache and hopefully i will be able to get back into the swing of things tomorrow.

This post is for yesterdays play and i will have another post up tonight showing today's results. Today was a pretty bad day for me in poker. I only played for a few hours and i was playing pretty poorly. I was making some bad calls and running into a few big hands which i was at the losing end of. I took a break after 2 hours of play to set up my trip to Vegas in march and eat with plans of playing more afterwards but that didn't happen. I wanted to come back and play more but was introduced to the game Guitar Hero 2. For anyone who hasn't played this game i strongly recommend getting it, its sick. We ended up drinking/playing this game until 5am which left me with no time to play poker and also with a sore left hand. Like i said before i also set up a trip in the middle of march to go back to Vegas to get my money back haha. There is like 6 of us going out there for like 5 days and even though i just got back from there a week ago i already cant wait to go back. We are going to be out there right in the middle of march madness so that will be pretty cool. Last year i went out there during march madness and it was pretty fun just to be around the sports books. Last year i ended up losing like 400 on Michigan State (stomped by George Mason haha) so i hope they aren't still in the tourney while i am out there to tempt me to bet on them. Anyways I am just rambling on now so i have some errands to run and i will be back on later, hopefully with some results in the green. Here are a few hands so check back later and I'm out.

Day # 18
Today i played for around 5 hours and the session started off pretty bad. I played a few tournaments that started at 9 and 2 tables of 5/10. I played the 150 buy in and the 22+re buys and didn't cash in either of them. I started off pretty good in both and got pretty deep into both but busted out before cashing in either of them so it was pretty much a waste of time. I would've easily cashed in the 150 but of course my qq was no match against 88s all in preflop haha. I really do hate tournaments but i just know that if i would not get so unlucky all the time i could actually do pretty well in them. So i managed to bust out like 200th out of 1100 and that one only paid the top 150 so that sucked. In the 20 re buy i was card dead the whole time and couldn't really get anything going. The cash games i was playing were going pretty slow too and i was about to quit but started getting some cards and played for a few more hours. I was stuck about 1200 after 3 hours of play and then picked up a few nice pots over the last few hours and was able to get out of the red and into the green. I am really glad that i was able to turn it around today because today's session really feels like a losing one. You are going to have days and sometimes weeks like this where you are just card dead and you have to be able to just grind it out and pick good spots to try and pick up pots to stay a float. I don't really recall playing many pots but was somehow able to turn my deficit into a profit which is huge considering i really didn't play many hands and was down 1200 at one point. Anyways with that being said i am calling it a night, here are some hands from today and I'm out.

Once he bets out that feeler bet on the turn i know if i just call i make no more money on the hand so i decide to put a big raise in there like i am raising with some type of draw or am trying to steal it from him. The river was a good card because it doesnt complete any drawing hands in his mind. So i thought for like 10 seconds and shoved all in hoping it would look like a bluff with a missed draw and it ended up working out.

Everytime i would raise he kept reraising me 80 more so im thinking if i finally come back over the top he will give me credit for a real hand and fold, which did not happen. I throw out kind of a small bet hoping it looks weak like i have ak and really want him to come over the top here which he does not do. The turn card looked scary but really didnt scare me that much. Once he calls the flop i am putting him on ak and that turn did not help his hand. I thought about checking here and having him push but i really dont want it to go to a river card. So i push and unless he has qq he isnt calling in this spot. He mightve folded kk here but i think he had ak but who knows.

Fuck sony/Day 17 if you want to call it that.
Today i didn't really do anything in poker other than lose money. I didn't feel like playing at all but sat down for like an hour, played stupid, and lost money. I didn't want to play because i finally got my PS3 hooked up for online play and of course the piece of shit doesn't work. So i was checking online forums for help all day and finally just gave up on it. You would think by spending 600 on a system that things would run smoothly with it but of course Sony could never pull something like that off. I guess i am supposed to forward my router and change all these ip addresses which is absolutely stupid for Sony to expect someone who isn't a total computer geek how to do. Anyways i would suggest to anyone not to buy a PS3 i have had nothing but problems with this thing or at least wait until they come out with more systems that are updated and problem free. Like i said i didn't really play any poker but managed to hand out some money in the little time i did play. I don't really have any hands to put up and i guess the point of this post was pretty much to tell you that i fucking hate Sony. With that being said I'm out and check back tomorrow to see if i have played any poker and to see if my PS3 is still in 1 piece.

Day # 16
Today i really didn't accomplish anything that i wanted to in terms of poker. I did end up making money but i didn't play in any of the Sunday tournaments like i wanted to do. I planned on playing in the 530 buy in but by the time i woke up it was about to start and didn't feel like hopping right onto the computer. I was also going to play in the 215 second chance tourney but had to go out to eat so i missed that as well. Who knows it might have ended up being for the best anyways because i wasn't really in the poker mood at all today. I did play for around 3 hours, 3 tabling the 5/10nl on stars and ended up seeing around 500 hands. I wasn't really playing my A game but was able to pick up a few big hands and take down a few nice pots. I plan on putting together a 6+ hour session tomorrow so check back to see how that goes and I'm out.

Today was the first day of online play since my trip to Vegas and I'm not going to lie i missed it. Playing live has its advantages but i really like online more than live play. When you play live you can see and talk to your competition which is a huge part of the game but i prefer online play by far. The reason i prefer online play is the fact that there is never any down time. By down time i mean there is never any waiting around for a hand and there is constant action. I cant stand sitting around waiting while some idiot is thinking for like 2 minutes over a 100 dollar pot when everyone at the table knows hes folding. Being able to talk with the other players is fun but I'm so used to the non stop action online that i cant stand how slow the live game is. Anyways with that being said i managed to put together a 6 hour session on a Saturday which is usually pretty hard to do. Today was a real roller coaster in poker terms. I started off up 1k then i was all of a sudden down 1k and then I managed to finish off the session pretty strong and was able to put up some nice results for my 1st day back. I plan on playing at least a few tournaments tomorrow so check back to see how that goes, here are some hands from today and I'm out.

Back from Vegas
I just got back from Vegas yesterday and am still feeling the after effects. My sleep schedule is all fucked up and i think i might have contracted s.a.r.s., overall though it was definitely worth it. I would say this was probably the funnest trip that i have taken out there so far. We stayed at the Flamingo the first 4 days and it was actually a lot nicer than i was expecting. I didn't really play that much poker the first 4 days just did more drinking and paryting. We went to studio 54 at the MGM one night and the playboy club a top the Palms another night and both were pretty sick. I decided to sit down at 2/5 around 3a.m. after the bar and lets just say it wasn't the best idea haha. I went all in pre-flop for like 600 with ak vs. qq which i actually think was a good play and don't really know how the guy called me but oh well, needless to say i didn't hit. The guy thought forever and i thought i could get him off it but the idiots at 2/5 cant fold so good call i guess. So after the first couple of nights being there i was down about 2k haha, just the way i was hoping to start. That wasn't that big of a deal because i knew i would win it back and a lot of the 2k was spent on a lot of other things than poker. We also went to this sick steakhouse in the MGM called Craft steak and it was by far the greatest steak/meal i have ever had. Granted it was like over 200 a person but i think it was well worth it, it was that good. My buddy's cousin who is cool as hell picked up a good part of the check so that was really cool of him. If you are ever in Vegas i definitely recommend that you eat at Craft steak. The last few days out there i stayed at the Wynn and the room/hotel was sick. I have been there many times before but never in any of the rooms and they are sweet. I went to check in and they didn't have a room for me so they put me in a deluxe room on the 60th floor, which is the top floor, BALLLIINNN haha. The rooms there are so sick i don't think i will be able to stay anywhere else when i go out there now. The room had plasmas in the main room and in the bathroom with a sick view overlooking their golf course and las vegas. Unfortunately i didn't really take any pictures of the trip again so i dont really have any to put up on the blog. I think i am going back out there again though in march so i will take some for sure that time. As for poker the trip didn't really go as planned. I would say that i lost around 500 playing poker which isn't a big deal at all but i was just running so shitty it sucked. I must have got my money all in 5 or 6 times as the favorite and lost every hand to a turn card or river card. It sucks but that's just the way it goes sometimes, you are going to get unlucky that's just the way the game is. I was down about 2k with 3 days to go and managed to get back to even the day before i left. This was pretty good considering how bad i was running. If i wasn't running so bad i would've pulled in some decent money but the cards just weren't holding up what can you do. Every time i would get the money in i swear the person would suck out on the turn or the river every time. Once i got back to even i ran into the sickest half hour of the whole trip where i managed to lose around 1700 in a little under a half hour. There were 3 big hands in this half hour that really just stuck it to me and i wouldn't play these hands any different i just got unlucky/cold decked.
Hand 1- Idiot to my left had been limping into every hand and calling/raising with really weak hands. So we are 6 handed i have j8c from the button i raise to 20 pre and the idiot calls. Flop comes 910Q and i flop the straight. He checks to me i bet out 25,he raises to 70, i think for a sec then re raise to 155, and before i can even get my chips into the pot he immediately goes all in for like 420 more. I don't see how i can get away from this hand 6 handed so i finally call and of course he has the KJ and i lose about 700 here. Not a bad beat at all but just a sick set up and i don't think many players are getting away from this hand.
Hand 2- about 10 minutes later i pick up AA in early position and raise to 20 again and have 2 callers behind me. Flop comes down Q86 which is an ok flop but there are a lot of draw possibilities with this flop so i bet out 50 into the 75 and get 1 caller. I had played with this kid the day before and he would call down with any pair/draw so i didn't really like him calling. The turn comes a 9 which I didn't think hit him but i checked only to check raise if he bet out a decent amount which he did. So he bets out 80 and I'm positive i have the best hand at this point so i re raise him 175 on top of his 80 hoping to take the pot down right here but he calls and i already have a sick feeling before the river comes. The river comes a retarded 7 which i know just killed my hand so i think for a second and throw a freeze bet out there of 50 because i don't want to check and just have him go all in, i wanted to at least see his garbage hand. He thinks for like a minute then finally just calls showing a 910 off suit haha. Nothing like idiots chasing you down when they aren't getting even close to the right odds to call. It wouldn't be a bad play on his part if he was actually raising and playing the hand strong but he was calling down when i was making it clear i had a big hand. Then he just calls on the river when he makes his hand, such a bad play.

It is still 6 handed and i have AKc in the BB and the guy from the button raises to 20 so i make it 75 to go. He thinks for a second then calls so at this point I'm putting him on at least a some what decent hand. The flop comes down 854 with 2 hearts so i bet out 90 which i would with a big pair here, he thinks for a bit then finally calls. At this point I'm pretty sure he has something like 991010 or jj. The turn is a 3 actually a pretty good card for my hand giving me 4 more outs,so i could check and let him take control of the hand or try and blow him off his weak mid pair which i did. I bet out 180 on the turn here thinking i am taking it down right here or if i catch an A K or 2 i will have the best hand anyway. So this time he thinks for a while then finally just flat calls again which gave me this sick feeling like he had 88 or flopped a huge hand. The river is a disgusting King which i hated to see once he smooth called the turn because i had a feeling i was now beat after he called the turn and i would have to pay off his river bet. So i check the King and he thinks for a second and bets out 200, so sick. Once i checked and he bet the 200 i actually said "such a sick river card i know you have 88 and the river comes a King just to stick in my ass because i have to call now." So i did finally pay him off and obviously he has the 88 for a set and there goes another 600. I just got up and walked away from the table at this point i was so frustrated.
So my hard work of getting back to even was lost in a matter of a half hour. It definitely sucked but that's the way it goes sometimes. I ended up pulling in like 700 the day i had to leave to cut my losses to only 1200 which i don't really care considering how much i spent and how bad i ran while i was out there. Day # 14
Today i really had too much running around to do so i couldn't really play any poker like i wanted to. I played for like an hour but I'm not even going to post anything about it. I made like 80 bucks haha and didn't really play any hands so there is nothing to post about it. Tomorrow i will be leaving for Las Vegas so there will be a week hiatus on the blog. I will hopefully get some pictures to put up on the site but we will see how that goes. This is my 5th time going out there and i have no pictures at all so I'm not promising anything. Although i plan on doing more partying than playing poker so i should be able to take some pictures or videos, hopefully videos... haha. I will be flying back in Thursday morning so the blog will be back up Thursday night or Friday. I do plan on getting 4 good days of play in while I'm out there but i am not going to count it towards the blog. I am taking 4k out there and will play 2/5 no cap at the Wynn, some 5/10 at the Bellagio, and possibly a few tournaments. Anyways as i said i will not be counting this trip towards the goal and am going to just pick up at Day 15 when i return. With that being said i am going to sleep and i will be back next week, Nechita out.

Day # 13
Today i had a lot of running around to do but was able to play for about 3 hours. I played 1 table of 10/20, 1 table of 5/10, and played in the 150 buy in tournament again. Had some ok results at the cash games but wasn't able to cash in the tournament. I was really card dead in the tournament and just kind of hung around until i picked up aces and obviously they didn't hold up. When this happened it definitely reminded me why i hate to play tournaments. I'm not saying that tournament hands are rigged but the beats you take playing those are just insane compared to cash games. Lets just say when i got my AA all in preflop against 2 other players (kk and aq) i knew they would lose and they did. The even funnier part is that they lost to both of the other hands haha. This always seems to happen to me late in tourneys and it just makes me not want to play tourneys it pisses me off so much. I wouldn't really have cared if this happened in the first 5 minutes but i had played for a few hours and if my aces would've held up i would've cashed for sure and went deep into the tourney. Tomorrow i plan on putting together one last good session before i leave for vegas so check back tomorrow night for results. Alright that's enough venting over my tourney disappointment here are some hands from today and I'm out.

Day # 12.... if u want to call it that.
The reason for my title is due to the fact that i was completely hung over and wasn't feeling poker at all today. I was planning on playing in the big Sunday tourney today and playing a long session but my brain wasn't on the same page. I finally started to feel some what normal around 9 and decided to play but immediately wasn't into it at all. I did manage to play for about an hour of just 2 tables and i saw around 150 hands which really isn't anything. The 10/20 game looked soft so i played that and was doing pretty well but just didn't have the focus i needed to play my A game so i quit. I will be taking a week off from the blog starting Wednesday because i will be going to las vegas for a week. I was thinking about counting the week that i am out there towards the goal but i really don't know how much i am even going to play while there. We are staying at the flamingo and also at the Wynn. The Wynn is by far my favorite casino out there and favorite poker room so i cant wait. They give such a sick deal to poker players its by far the best poker rate out there. I am getting a room for 129 a night with the poker rate when the rooms are usually around 350 a night. They give you this poker rate as long as you play 5 hours of poker a day in their poker room which i would do even if i wasn't staying there. Day # 11
Today was a pretty uneventful day. I played for about 3 hours and saw around 600 hands without much success. Today i was really just card dead. I couldn't pick up any hands and when i would try to make a play it seemed like i would get re raised every time. There really isn't much else to say about today's play other than the fact that i didn't catch any hands and when i did they didn't hold up. I plan on putting together another long session tomorrow as well as playing a few tournaments. I am going to play the 215 buy in on stars and maybe another but we will see. So with that being said check back tomorrow night for hopefully a nice score in the tournament and cash games. Here are a few hands and I'm out.

Day # 10
Today started off pretty rocky but i was able to crawl out of the red and back into the green. I only managed to play for about 4 hours and was down about 2k after just an hour of play. I kept playing my game though and was able to turn my 2k deficit into a pretty decent win for starting out so shitty. Somebody recently asked me how come people couldn't leave comments on my page and i didn't even realize it was turned off. Day # 9
Today was kind of a break through day in terms of the goal. I was playing well and running pretty good too. I played my longest session in a long time of 9 hours and saw around 1500 hands today. I am pretty pleased with my results today because i am now ahead of schedule on achieving my goal. I have been trying to play a lot of smaller pots lately and i think it has really improved my game. Instead of getting involved in a lot of all in pots i feel i can outplay people after the flop. I also played my first tournament tonight in a long time and got fairly deep in it. I played the $150 buy in on pokerstars and ended up finishing 59th out of 1145 people for $481 so that was a good confidence booster. I really haven't played any tournaments in the past month and wanted to see how i would do. I have final tabled this tournament 2 times in the past (3rd, 4th) for a couple nice pay outs. I really want to improve my tournament game and i think after this goal that is something i am going to focus on. Anyways it is pretty late and i will be back at it tomorrow so check back. Day # 8
Today i was able to put together a pretty lengthy session with some alright results. I played for about 6 hours and saw about 1400 hands. I put together some ok results but lost a few big pots towards the end of my session which really cut down my winnings. I really feel that i play my best game when i play longer sessions and really get a feel for how the table is playing. I am really going to try and play for at least 5 hours+ from now on. I am a little behind pace on achieving the goal but i have plenty of time left so I'm not to worried about it. I was close to putting up some pretty good numbers today but ran into a few big hands towards the end of the day. Day # 7
Today was pretty much another wasted day in terms of poker. I had to wake up early (by 1) and do a lot of running around during the day. Then after that i got side tracked by how sick tiger woods 07 is on ps3, and thats without the HD cable. I was planning on playing after that but watched the red wings game instead. I couldve watched it in my room and played but i dont have a plasma in my room. Besides all that though i actually squeezed in about a half hour of play haha. Day # 6
Today was one of those days where i wasn't really in the mood to play poker so i only played for about 2 hours. Day # 5

Day # 2
Today was an absolute nightmare. I played for about 6 hours and it was one of the worst sessions I've had in a while. I kept getting my money all in as the favorite and lost every time. I am so frustrated right now its sick. These are the days that really are a gut check to whether or not you have what it takes to do this for a living. I have lost amounts like this plenty of times before but the cards are running so bad its sick. Of course i have to have a day like this right at the beginning of my goal too haha. I guess there is nothing i can do but keep playing my game and hope the cards start to do what they are supposed to. I am playing and reading my opponents well but every time i get the money in the middle as a favorite i lose. Day # 1
Today was the first day of my goal. I wanted to start out yesterday but was way to hungover/tired to play. Today i played about 1200 hands and couldn't really get much going. I played for about 6 hours and was playing pretty well/running kinda bad. Every time it felt like i was getting some momentum and really going to put up some big numbers i would run into a big hand, which i would lose. I really feel like today would've been a lot better than my results show but the cards were not on my side. Today i felt pretty good playing for a longer period of time than i have been lately. I am going to be putting together 5+ hour sessions everyday until i achieve my goal. My stats show that i have a lot better results when i play for longer amounts of time opposed to playing for an hour and trying to push the action too much. I have him on aa once he bets out the small amount on the turn so i just call again knowing im paying off his river bet. Then I hit a very nice 1 outer, pretty sick set up by stars here.
Knew this player was on weak pair and still couldnt get him off the hand. So i semi bluff all the way down and needless to say i dont get there. I know he has qq here but just am not good enough yet to throw my set away here even though i know im beat. good thing is a lot of top players go broke here too, just one of those hands you will go broke on.
Another bluff where in my opinion the guy makes a terrible call. I had been playing fairly tight and there is absolutely nothing this guy can beat but a bluff. He thought for almost a minute on my river bet and still calls when i know hes thinking hes beat. http://www.pokerhand.org/?710250

This is an example of both of us knowing how each other plays. He has me on stealing the blinds from the button so reraises which is a fine play. I knew by coming over the top of his resteal here i am taking this pot unless he has kk/aa because he thinks of me as a fairly tight player.
