I'm usually not the kind of person to get caught up in the hype of new things but i have to admit the i phone looks pretty sweet. I have had the same shitty phone for like 4 years now mainly because i was waiting for some great new technology to come out and it looks like it might have arrived. I wasn't foolish enough to go wait in lines for hours or anything but i think after all the madness settles down i am going to have to pick one of these up. For those of you who have been under a rock the past week or so here is a link to the futurehttp://www.apple.com/iphone/.
Enough about iphone and onto some poker talk. As you can already tell by the title i did have a pretty good day on stars and was playing great poker. Yesterday i played great no limit and Omaha for about 5 hours and ended up with nothing to show for it, very frustrating. I did make about 500 yesterday but it very easily would've been a 4k day but i took two very sick beats towards the end of my session. I got some idiot to go all in preflop for 1k with ak vs. my KK and sure enough he catches his ace on the flop and i lose 1k. Next in omaha i was killing the games and sure enough i get it all in with the nuts against this idiot who couldn't fold and he rivered out a flush on me when he was getting no odds to call. I still haven't got my desktop fixed so I'm on my laptop which sucks because i really want to show you these 2 hands from yesterday and just how sick they were. Yesterday was very frustrating but i knew i was playing great and these things are going to happen sometimes. Today i was playing great and unlike yesterday i actually have some money to show for it. I didn't really feel like going out tonight so i was able to play for about 9 hours which is by far the most I've played in a while. I was 3 tabling the 5/10nl and was able to make about 3k doing that. Also i played in the nightly 150 that paid the top 90 (i busted in 102nd lame)out of 700 players and i also played in a 77 buy in 6 handed tourney. I was playing well and catching some cards at key points and managed to finish in 2nd place out of about 250 players. The 2nd place paid like 2,500 or something but i really wanted the win more than anything. I think first was like 3700 or something but my first tourney win would've been worth way more than the money. Another 2nd place is kind of disappointing but I'm very happy with how i played and if i keep putting myself deep in tournaments i have to eventually break through and win one. Overall on the day between cash games and tournaments i pulled in around 5500 so i cant complain, even though i really wanted to win that tournament. Anyways I'm pretty beat so I'm about to pass out and check back tomorrow to see what i got goin on.

Back from Vegas.........
I returned home from Vegas a few days ago but haven't really got around to posting about it yet. My original plan was to take my laptop out there and give some updates during the trip but i managed to take the laptop but forget my wireless card. Besides completely bombing in the 1500 w.s.o.p. tourney i had a really great time out there as usual. When i got out there i still wasn't sure if i was going to play in the wsop event or just play like 3 venetian 500 tourneys but once i actually got to the Rio and saw the wsop craziness it made me want to play. Unfortunately for me though i obviously went completely card dead in the tourney and after like 4 hours of folding i got all in with A7 vs. J10 off preflop and lost. It just sucked being so card dead because i couldn't really get in any rhythm and when i tried to make any kind of steals/moves someone was coming back over the top of me all in. My buddy (Moeller) was able to cash in the tournament http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com/tourney/event.asp?tourneyID=3465&groupID=309 and finished in 268 so that was pretty cool, here's the link at the bottom of the page he is under craig mUeller haha. Honestly though when i did bust out of the tourney i was kind of relieved because now i could get back to the cash games and make some real money. I played 2/5 no cap at the Wynn most of the time and was able to put together some pretty good numbers for the limited amount of time i played. The games were playing pretty soft as usual and i was able to win around 2500 during the week which paid for my tourney and my trip. If i wouldn't have played in the tourney i would say it was a good week of poker but i guess it was fun just to say i played in a wsop tourney. The trip was pretty poker related so i don't have too many ridiculous stories. I did learn a new dance called dealing the cards( wish i had a video of) i spent 100 dollars on bottle service at a strip club only to get up and leave 2 minutes later( too drunk) and have about 1k that i have no clue where it went or what i spent it on. It was a great time out there but once again we were unable to find/even look for apartments so i think that i might go back out there in a few weeks. Well that pretty much sums up our trip out there and I'm about to start playing online so check back later to see how that went and I'm out.

Vegas Baby!!!
Tomorrow night we will be leaving for Vegas and i cant wait to get there. I don't know why but i feel more pumped up for this trip to Vegas more than the other times I've been out there. I think a major factor is I've been working on my tournament game the past few weeks and for once i actually feel confident going into tournaments. I have been running pretty deep into some tourneys lately and hopefully that will carry over into the w.s.o.p.. I plan on playing in the 500$ deep stack tourney at the venetian on Friday and then playing in the 1500$ wsop tourney on Saturday, if i don't final table the venetian tourney. I was thinking of not playing in the wsop tourney and only playing the venetian tourneys but i like my tourney game right now and wouldn't mind picking up a bracelet haha. Also my buddy(hodge) and i are going to be looking for apartments while i am out there so that is kind of exciting. I will be taking my laptop out there this trip so i will try to put up some posts of what we are up to and how we are doing in the tourney. It really sucks not having my desktop work because it really has limited my play the past week by only being able to play 2 tables at a time. Also i cant put up any hands but over the past few days I've got killed on bodog for about 2k, dropped around 1k on FT, and up around 2k on pokerstars. I really wish i was playing on my laptop because i have been taking some horrific beats over the past few days on bodog and FT. I keep getting it all in as a huge favorite and people are just hitting 3 or 4 outers on the river every time against me, its actually getting pretty funny on how i am losing some of these pots. Anyways i still have to get everything ready for tomorrow so I'm about to go to bed so check back within the next few days to see what kind of shenanigans we are up to and I'm out.

Another disappointing sunday.....
Once again i played in both of the big Sunday tournaments on stars and full tilt and was unable to cash in either. In the stars tournament i just couldn't get anything at all going. I picked up aces and kings within the first hour but obviously both times i raised everyone insta folded and every time i didn't want action i got it. Also out of the 6500 people in the tournament you would think i would be at a table of nobodies but of course i had to good 25/50 regulars at my table so that sucked. I only made it half way through the 2nd hour of play before getting all in with 77 vs. kk. gg me and gg $370. The full tilt tournament was a $530 buy in and was giving away around 140 seats with about 300 entrants. My table was pretty weak so i was able to pick up some small pots until this hand came up. The blinds were at 30/60 and we both had a little over 3k in chips at this point. I have 77 utg so i limp in, it folds around to the bb who was a weak player but was raising a lot of pots, i just call. Flop comes down aj7 rainbow and i decide to fire out a kind of small bet of around 150 into the 450 pot and he just calls. The turn is a 6 of hearts and with the pot around 750 i bet out like 450 hoping to get raised but yet he just calls again. The river comes down the 3 of hearts making the board aj763 with now 3 hearts and I'm still very confident in my set. I bet out like 800 on the river praying to get called and wouldn't u know it he instantly min raises it to 1600?? As soon as he did this i was 100% sure i was beat but i just don't see how i can throw it away at this point so i call, he turns over j9 of hearts for a runner runner flush so sick. That left me with like 300 chips but i was able to build back up to around 3k before getting it all in with aq vs. ak gg me. It was another pretty disappointing Sunday in the big tournaments but luckily i had played some plo on both sites before the tournaments and was able to win my buy ins. The big tournaments didn't go well but i did play in a $55 tourney while i was playing the others and made a pretty deep run. There were like 1200 people in it with first paying 14k and i got all the way down to 23rd place for a weak $230, disappointing. I am disappointed because i feel like i keep getting so close but end up busting out for barely any money but at the same time I'm very happy with how Ive been playing. I think that with all these deep runs i am due for a final table and no better time than while i am in Vegas next week. Well that sums up yesterdays mess and I'm about to start up a session so check back later for that and I'm out.

Hacked!
That's right, some how i think i managed to put a virus onto my desktop yesterday. I'm not really a big computer tech guy so I'm not 100% sure but i believe i might have put a key logger on it. A key logger is a program people can put onto your computer without you knowing and it allows them to see everything that you are typing. Obviously this isn't a good thing to have on your computer and its been really freaking me out because of all my passwords i have on my CPU. I am on my laptop right now which i think is secure but its sucks because i can only play like 2 tables at a time. Also i don't really feel like having to run around to best buy or computer stores to get this fixed right before i leave for Vegas on Wednesday. Anyways that is the recent problem i have been dealing with and has pretty much limited me to little or no play. I did play some PLO yesterday on full tilt and was able to pull in close to 2k which was nice since i started off down like 700. All the sites today are having their huge main event tournaments so i will be playing in them and hopefully can win a seat. Pokerstars is giving away at least 150, Full tilt is giving away 100, and i haven't looked yet to see what bodog is doing. Last year i got pretty deep into both of these tourneys but came up short so hopefully i can win a seat this year. I haven't played any tourneys yet that give away seats to the main event because i could really care less about playing in it. Even if i cash in one of the tournaments today i am just going to keep the 10k instead of playing in the main event. Anyways that's just a quick update on what i have been up to and check back later to see how i did today.

Beat....
I havent really had time to post or play poker over the past few days so I'm giving a very quick post about where I've been. Between me being really busy the past few days and going to Toronto I'm just wiped out today. I went to Toronto when i was younger but this was the first time being there since being old enough to do cool stuff and its a really awesome city. My dad and i stayed up there for the night right off of yonge st.(main strip) and we had a great time barhopping haha. I really liked the feel of the city and it ALMOST kind of felt like i was in Vegas, just totally different compared to big u.s. cities I've been to. Anyways i am really tired from last night but i plan on getting in a good session tomorrow so check back for that and im out.
Almost forgot- that tournament i was still in the other night i ended up going out in 58th place out of like 1500 people which only paid like 160. It was a 11+re buys tourney and i was only in for 20 bucks so i guess that's ok but i was playing more for the practice before i go out to Vegas than the money. I'm kind of happy with the way i played but unless I'm making the final table of a tournament i think of anything less as a waste of time.

Day 20/Long day.....
Today was probably one of the longest days of poker that i have played(online) in a really long time. I didn't really play much nl cash games but played tons of plo and ran kind of deep into a few tournaments. The plo games were insane today with me having swings from being up 1500, down 800, and then back up again. After playing plo all day i decided to take a break from that and try to get a little tournament practice before Vegas. The tournaments i played in today were the 162, 22+ re buys, 109,11+re buys, and a 20 heads up tourney all on stars. I only managed to cash in 2 of the tournaments but i think i played pretty well and if a few of my hands held up i think i couldve easily cashed in 4 of them. I cashed in the 162 tournament for like 480 after finishing 38th out of 909 people which is okay but the 30k for 1st would be a lot nicer. The other tournament that i cashed in is the 11+ re buys which i am still playing in right now so lets hope i can finally take one of these down. There were 1600 people with first place paying 12k and we are down to like 220 right now with around an average chip stack. Well I'm going to concentrate on finishing this thing up and i will let you know tomorrow how i did. In case you were wondering what happened to my Sunday tournaments update i busted out of the 215 in about 10 minutes and just unregistered all my other tourneys and called it a day. Here are some of the hands from today and I'm out.

Weekend summary/Sunday tournaments
I only played for a few hours over the weekend but was still able to lose some good money haha. Friday i played some 5/10nl on bodog for a few hours and was playing really well but ended up down a few hundred. I made a pretty stupid call within like the first 10 minutes of sitting down which ended up costing me 1k. I was kind of in the mood to gamble and thought i had more outs than i did but i was wrong and it pretty much ruined any chance of me having a good session. So after starting off 1k in the hole i buckled down, played some good ABC/boring style of poker, and was able to almost get back to even. Yesterday i decided to play some 3/6 omaha on fulltilt and was playing well but kept getting river fucked. David Chiu and Aaron Bartley were at my table and for being the " Full tilt pros" i was not impressed with their games at all. I'm not saying that they are bad players but i definitely think i can and was holding my own against them. Unfortunately for me i guess having your name in red and being a "FT pro" means that you run like god and hit every draw you are chasing. After a few hours of getting sucked out on i decided to call it quits on FT with around a 1.5k loss, which sucks because i really felt i was playing good. Last night after about 20 beers and shots at thebar i decide that some 3/6 omaha on stars sounds like a good idea haha. I'm looking through the hand histories right now and it doesn't look like i played that bad and actually made around 700 in just over an hour. Anyways the Sunday tournaments are about to start so i have to cut this short, check back to later to see how i did today and I'm out.

Day 18/ another unproductive day..
Today pretty much went like the last 3 days in terms of poker, i wake up thinking i want to play then after about an hour I'm just not feeling it. I know its due to the nice weather but I'm going to have to try and get used to it since ill be living in Vegas in a few months. I played for around 2 hours today on all 3 sites with some mixed results. On bodog i was 2 tabling the 5/10nl games and just couldn't get anything going so i just decided to cut my losses of a few hundred dollars. Next i moved onto stars where there was only 1 5/1o game going but a really soft looking 25/50 table so i decided to go with the 25/50nl. I feel comfortable playing at these stakes but the games are usually sick hard so i tend to stay away from them but that was not the case today. I was playing fairly tight (mainly due to the lack of cards) but picked up a few pots here and there and was able to win around 1200 or something in the hour i was there. Unfortunately i was also playing a super soft 5/10 game where these calling stations would call me down every time with nothing and i ended up losing a good amount in this game. I don't mind being the aggressor and having players calling me down all the time but playing this role means you need to eventually pick up a few hands which just wasn't happening, so after the 5/10 debacle i was up only a few hundred on stars. Last but not least was full tilt where i played a 10/20nl heads up table and a 3/6 plo table. I usually don't play heads up tables but i was just looking through the lobby and noticed that the 2 players in the heads up match looked horrible so i joined the waiting list. The main reason why i decided to play the 10/20 was because both players were only in for 1k instead of the full 2k and most the time when a player buys in for not the full amount they are usually a bad player. The plo games were full of bad players as most plo games are but i wasn't really able to get much going in the game so i think i ended up finishing about even in plo or down a few hundred. Anyways that sums up my couple hours of play today but check back tomorrow and I'm out.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1156037 - only pot from 25/50 worth posting. I really hate my check on the turn here too i don't know why i checked. This guy was a really bad player and would probably call me down with any ace so that makes my check even worse. Also I'm assuming he had some hand like j10/jq and my check allowed him to draw for his straight for free.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1156033 - 3 handed and i just saw this same guy get caught bluffing playing a weak hand this same way. I guess i couldve got away from it but with our stacks and thinking this guy is a pretty weak player i don't know how i feel about this one.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1156041 - the 10/20 heads up hand where I'm a huge luck box and ruin this guys day haha. No but really i thought with his big raise pre he had like ak or some mid pair so i decide to push all in here.and if he has ak i have outs. When i pushed i was pretty confident that if i was called i would have any 2, 4, or any club as an out and that's if he has ak and even calls, which unfortunately he did. River 2 gg ship the 1k haha this guy sat out at the table for about 4 minutes just talking shit to it was pretty funny.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1156052 - only omaha pot that was of any significance
Daily total- 925.98 (801.44 FT) (204.94 Bodog) (329.48 stars)
Bodog bankroll- 4,550.34 this is lame hopefully i can get this to at least like 7k by the end of the 30 days

Getting excited for Vegas.
With the world series starting June 1st it is completely nuts out there right now and I wish i was there. I am going out there on the 20th for like 5 days to play in a few of the no limit events. There is a nl 1500 tourney the 21st and another 1500 nl tourney on the 23rd which I'm playing in for sure but still don't know about the 21st. I just think with the time change and it being our first night there it is going to be impossible to wake up by noon. I'm not really a tournament player but figure what the hell i might as well win a tournament while im out there haha. I was out there last year during the wsop and the cash games are absolutely sick, i cant wait. My 2 friends (billy t and hodge for those who know me) that I'm going to be living with when i move out there at the end of July just moved out there Sunday. We will be looking at places while i am out there and i hope we can find something nice close to the strip and possibly sign a lease. I guess once i win the tournament on the 23rd ill probably just have to buy a house and stay for a little longer than the 5 days. As for poker today i only played for about an hour. I played some 3/6 pot limit omaha and some 5/10 H.o.r.s.e on stars today with a little success and one big mistake. I really think that when i play omaha i need to be totally focused on the table I'm on or i will play shitty. Well today i figured it would be a good idea to play omaha while playing horse and a tournament at the same time, not a good idea. I still ended up winning but lost a huge pot when i thought i had the nuts but didn't and it was due to me not paying attention. This makes me mad because i never make mistakes like these and when I'm playing omaha i should not be playing 3 completely different games at the same time. I bought a new program today that shows my omaha hands so i can put those up on the site now along with the nl hands. Anyways I've been slacking the past few days on my play so I'm going to try and get a good 5+ hour session in tomorrow. So check back tomorrow night to see how that went and I'm out.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1153368 - i didn't really want to discuss any of these but this one needs to be explained. I make my standard raise preflop get a few callers and the short stack in the BB pushes in for 70 more. There is a good amount of money in there already and i don't mind my hand being up against an over pair. So i decide to re raise and try to isolate the all in player so we are heads up. Instead the guy who was behind me pushes all in for around 200 more so now its 200 to win around 850. I obviously didn't want to put this much money in preflop with this hand but theres no way i can fold for the 200 more in this spot.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1153383 - here is the hand that i WAS mad about. I simply made a rookie error by mis reading the board and thinking i had the nut flush. That really pisses me off because i cant even recall the last time i did something like this. But looking back at the hand history i think we probably get it all in anyways so i think it still would've been the same result.

Day 17/ yesterdays play
I wouldn't really consider yesterdays play a session but i did make a little over a k. I'm saying that it wasn't a session because i only played for around a hour on bodog just 2 tabling. I played a 3/6 table and a 5/10 table with some pretty decent results for the short amount of time that i played. I was playing pretty well but lost a pretty big pot right before i quit(nothing i hate more) where i laid down qq on a 983. I'm pretty sure i was beat but i just cant stand getting involved in big pots before quitting, win or lose. After my mini session i went to our Tuesday night game at a friends house and was pretty disappointed this week with the game. Since i was out in Vegas and he just got back from Florida i haven't played in the game in almost a month and was kind of looking forward to it. You might remember me saying it was the best home game i have ever played in, which it is, but this week was kind of dead. Usually we play from about 8pm til around 5 am with there being over 1k in the pot by the end of the night but yesterday we finished at midnight, lame. Still the sickest home game of all time but it was just an off night and i think i ended up making like 20 bucks which i guess i cant complain because i was down about 70 to start. Midnight is just to early to quit playing so being the degenerates that we are, a buddy and I went back to my place and played a 100 H.O.R.S.E. cash game. It was a pretty back and forth match for a good 3 hours until we got it all in during plo where i flopped the straight and he had nut flush draw. Somehow i managed to avoid a club hitting and the match was over with me ending up around 120 on the night. Well i think I'm starting to babble so I'm going to wrap this up. I'm probably going to get a session in later so check back to see how that goes and I'm out.

Day 16/Bodog now owns me!!!
With it being so nice out this weekend i didn't really play a lot of poker but when i did play it didn't go very well. I don't think that i was playing bad i just ran into some big hands, had to make so big lay downs, and when i got the money in the middle with the best hands they weren't holding up. As the title says bodog now officially owns me, not really but i did have a bad weekend on there but i guess i was due since i don't think I've even had a losing session on there yet. Also i lost 300 on game 6 of the pistons series where they were eliminated by titty or whatever the fuck Gibson's name is. Losing the 300 sucks but i think listening to everybody ride lebrons cock for the next 2 weeks is going to be worse than losing the money. Anyways I'm starting to ramble so here are some hands from the past few days and I'm out.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1144996 - here is the one hand from the weekend that I'm still not sure of whether i like the way i played it or not. This guy had been raising my blinds a lot so i make a standard re raise and obviously wasn't hoping for a call then re raise. I'm pretty sure the sb has a mid pair once he pushes for his last 80 but am pretty unsure of the buttons hand. I hit a great flop for my hand but I'm not exactly in love with it. Once the bb calls the 200 on the flop then bets so weakly on the turn I'm thinking 2 things, he has like ak and is betting so weak in hopes to check the river behind, or he has a monster. I put him on ak mainly due to the fact that he didn't re raise me preflop so i decide to make a smallish looking raise to represent a hand like qqq/kkk but it was just bad timing. Obviously once he re pushes the turn i know i now need a club and i don't get there, gg 1k. The way this hand was played out was pretty weird so I'm unsure of whether i like the way i played. If he does have a hand like ak here i think i get him to lay it down it was just a bad read and i guess played well by this guy? even though i hate his play of just calling my re raise because he now was giving the sb sick odds to call to and playing KK against 2 players just is a bad play in this situation. Anyways i guess he has the money so he played it perfect....

Quick update on yesterdays play.....
Yesterday i had another really good session which resulted in me putting up some good numbers. I had to earn almost 1000vpp points on pokerstars yesterday to keep my supernova status ( http://www.pokerstars.com/vip/?utm_id=1) so i was able to get in around 6 hours of play. The tables were playing pretty tough but i didn't want to lose my supernova status so i grinded it out and really played some good poker. I am playing so 5/10 on bodog right now but i wanted to put up yesterdays numbers real quick. Anyways i am going to get back to the games but here are a few hands from yesterday and check back later to see how i ended up doing today.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1138735 - here i hit a great flop for JJ but i don't like having 4 players in the pot. I make a standard continuation bet here and once this guy calls i have him on a draw or a mid pocket pair, maybe 44. The turn is a great card so i just decide that once i bet the 180 I'm playing this all the way if he shoves. His river bet kind of threw me off but i decide just to call here because i think if i push all in the only way I'm getting called is by hands that beat me.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1138766 - nice little 800 pot with ace high. I almost thought about folding here even though i was pretty sure i had the best hand. I was very confident i had the best hand but ak is still a drawing hand and i really wasn't in the mood to race for 800 on a coin flip. But after thinking about it for a good 20 seconds i kind of felt i had to make this call and pray for any decent flop.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1138780 - here this guy just gets extremely unlucky. Set over set is just impossible to get away from here especially 6 handed and anyones going to go broke with 88s here.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1138786 - this was really the only bad beat i took yesterday and luckily it was a small pot.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1138796 - i would not suggest playing 96 in the bb facing a raise but here i am getting sick odds in a 5 way pot so i call the 20. I hit a decent flop for my hand and lucky me it gets checked around giving me a free turn which is a 6. So now i have a pair and flush draw and with no one showing any real interest on the flop i fire out 90 knowing even if i get called i have a good amount of outs. Once he calls i put him on some type of weak Q or a hand like 56. Now i hit a great card on the river giving me the flush and now its time to figure out how i can get the most chips out of him. I know he has a very weak hand here so i could check hoping he did have like 56 and would bluff but if he had a hand like qj he would just check behind me. So i make a bet that looks like I'm scared and when in reality im betting the 100 to entice him to raise thinking I'm weak and it works perfectly. Again i don't see any need in re raising his 250 because what hands is he going to call my re raise with? I had already ruled out him having a set so there is no need to push here.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1138823 - here i pick up JJ against a pretty aggressive player. I know he continuation bets this flop with any 2 but will likely shut down on the turn to me if i call the flop. I know that he would probably check even kings here in this spot but i have him on ak and decide to check behind. Now you could make a argument that i need to bet here to protect my JJ against letting him hit a K or A on the river but what am i going to do if i bet out and he shoves all in? So i decide that I'm happy with the pot as it is and am glad to just show down the JJ.

Shopping spree/ Nice little session on stars to pay for it haha.
Today i was able to put in about 3-4 hours on pokerstars and ended up with some decent results. Okay i didn't exactly go on an all out shopping spree but i did pick up a few things that i have been meaning to get for a while. I really didn't plan on playing at all due to the fact of it being about 100 degrees in my room but i went and bought an air conditioner and was good to go. I also bought a cable to hook up my lab top to my plasma and I'm surprised at how well it actually looks. I only screwed around with it for like 10 minutes but i brought up pstars and it looks like i will now be able to play 84 tables at once haha. Also the factory CD player in my explorer has been broken for some time now so i finally splurged and bought a new CD player that will be installed tomorrow. It was with the open item products but it is actually brand new, pioneer just came out with a new model of these so best buy had a few left they were getting rid of.
Here is the CD player http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/product/details/0,,2076_310069880_291147601,00.html
I'm not really a big car audio guy but i was able to get it for 260 and a 30 dollar gift card so i just thought this looked to good to pass up. Well that pretty much sums up my day of shopping now onto my poker session. The only site i played on today was pokerstars. I played 4 tables of the usual 5/10 nl and there were some pretty weak players at the tables handing out money. I am going to put together another lengthy session tomorrow so check back to see how that went. Oh, i almost forgot to mention i took my first decent hit playing omaha yesterday for about 1500 but it was mostly due to bad luck. I was playing my usual very aggressive style and when you play like that you A) have to eventually make hands after creating your maniac image and B) when you make a hand not get drawn out on and i couldn't do either of these. Its not really a big deal because i feel i was playing well and really in control of the table but the cards just didn't go my way, what are ya gonna do? Anyways here are some hands from today's session and I'm out.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1134977 - here i luck box another flop and thought for sure once he called my re raise on the flop we would get it all in. Once he folded the turn i was really surprised and i still have no clue what he couldve had here???
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1134981 - this is a good summary of some of the donks that were playing 5/10 today. K8 off facing a raise preflop is horrible then calling me down is even worse.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1134985 - here I'm getting sick odds to call so i take a flop and hit top 2. My original plan was to check raise but once this idiot bets out 100 under the gun i am a 100 % sure he has a big over pair. So rather than just shoving all in and hoping the board doesn't pair i elect to just call and bet hard on the turn. Board doesn't pair and the monkey isn't capable of folding an over pair.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1134990 - don't really remember this hand
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1134992 - I would check raise the flop here in many situations but these guys were kind of short and i didn't think they would fold. So i turn my double gutter and after seeing the guys j10 i think it was a good play by just calling the 40 and not getting it on the flop for like 250 with a draw.

Day 14.... pretty solid day
As the title says i had a pretty solid day on the tables today. Unfortunately i had some things to do today and wasn't able to play in any of the big Sunday tourneys but i did manage to get in about 4 or 5 hours of cash games. I played on all 3 sites again today so i will talk about each site individually starting with stars. I wasn't really going to play any 5/10 on there today but the games looked pretty soft so i figured it would be -EV by not playing. I 3 tabled the 5/10 game for around 4 hours and was able to pick up a nice little profit on the day. I was playing fairly aggressive so I was involved in a lot of decent sized pots i would like to show you but the stupid site where i usually link the hands to at the end of my posts forgot to pay for their domain haha. I guess they are supposedly working on getting it taken care of so hopefully they take care of it so i can keep showing hands. On full tilt the 5/10 games were looking unusually tough so i decided to play some 3/6 pot limit omaha instead and it was a roller coaster. PLO is usually a game where you are going to have big swings in your win/loss rate but the way i play plo its even more swingy. When i play the 6 handed plo games i am raising probably close to 80% of the hands i get and you cant be afraid to drop a few buy ins by playing this way. The people at the table started saying shit thinking i was some stupid maniac player and that's exactly what i wanted them thinking. So i started off by getting sucked out on a few times and was down about 1k after a half hour but i knew that with the image i had created it would only be a matter of time before i get it back. Long story short i eventually started hitting some flops and had some hands hold up and after about an hour i went from down 1k to up about 1200. Last but not least is my play from bodog. I only played for about an hour of 5/10 on there today and did okay i guess for 1 tabling and the short amount of time i played. There wasn't much action on bodog today because i played so short but i think i can easily continue beating the 5/10 game here simply by playing ABC poker, which isn't doable on FT or Stars. By playing ABC poker i mean not really doing anything fancy because i really don't think the players are that good on bodog and theres no need to get fancy against weak players. Well that pretty much sums up my day in poker so check back tomorrow and I'm out.

Murdering some Omaha tables......
So i pretty much felt like shit all day due to the past couple nights of drinking and decided that i was going to stay in for the night. Its a really strange feeling not going out/drinking on a Saturday night but i just don't think i could do 3 nights in a row, old age is setting in. Since i decided pretty early in the day that i was just going to stay in for the night i decided that i could get a lot of poker in. I started playing some no limit on Full tilt where i got absolutely murdered today and played some 5/10 on bodog with some alright results. I probably only played on these 2 sites for about an hour but ran into some pretty big set ups on full tilt and lost a good amount in a short time. I got my aces sucked out on the river for about a 1k pot and about 10 minutes later I pick up 33 in late position and decide to call the preflop raise. 3 of us go to the flop which is 632 and the guy in the sb bets out, the original raiser re raises to like 150, i decide to slow play and just call. Now the original better from the sb pushes all in for like 400 and the preflop raiser thinks for like 10 seconds and he pushes all in for like 1k. I hadn't played with him that much and had him on a over pair so i call only to see him turn over 66 for a set of sixes and the sb turn over 22 meaning we all flopped sets haha. I didn't catch the last 3 but a 2 did come on the river giving the guy quads against our sets haha. So after that debacle on Ft i decided that i just wasn't really in the mood to play no limit. I decided to play some pot limit Omaha and all i have to say is that i absolutely murdered the Omaha games i was in. I was playing 2 six handed tables of 3/6 on stars and a 3/6 table on full tilt. I pretty much ended up breaking about even in the full tilt game but destroyed the stars games. Today was definitely a huge confidence boost for me in terms of my Omaha game. I really felt like i was playing great and was really just running over the tables. Since i am going to sleep pretty early tonight (before 6 am) i plan on playing in at least a couple of the big Sunday tournaments tomorrow. Anyways this post is starting to get pretty long and I'm getting tired so check back to see how tomorrows tournaments went and I'm out.

Over due post....
Well i was going to wait until tomorrow to make a post but I'm still on Vegas time so its almost 5 a.m. here and i am wide awake. I still have to post part 2 of my trip to Vegas report but i don't have the pictures on my computer yet, hopefully i will get them by this weekend and put them up. As for the past few days i have been playing a lot of poker and have been able to put up some really good results. I have been playing primarily on stars the past few days but today i was playing tables on all 3 sites at once. On pokerstars i have just been playing/running pretty good over the past few days and i think it is due to game selection. There seems to be peak hours where the 5/10 games are just insanely difficult so i have really been trying to stay clear of those times and it seems to be working. Also I've been playing some 3/6, 5/10 pot limit omaha on stars the past few days and have really had some good results winning a little over 1k. I think this is really good because I've only been playing 1 plo table at a time, I've only played for a few hours, and I've never really read anything about plo I'm kind of self taught. As for full tilt i just realized today that I've only played there like 5 times in the past month so I'm going to try and get back in the swing of things on that site. I played 1 table of 5/10nl (was playing 1 FT,1 bodog, and 2 stars tables) on there and the table was playing pretty soft and i was able to win about 600 in a few hours. I really hate full tilts software compared to stars but the games are generally a lot softer so I'm going to start playing there more frequently. Last but not least is my play on Bodog. I played some more 5/10 on there and i have to say that of all 3 sites the 5/10 game on bodog is super soft. You just have players making bad plays, completely over playing weak hands, and as long as i don't get sucked out on i feel i can keep killing this game. After today in terms of the goal i am getting up to the point where i should move up to 10/20 but with the 5/10 being so profitable and weak i don't know if I'm going to bother moving up. I paid 20 dollars for this program to show hands from bodog to you guys but i cant get the stupid thing to work and i think I'm at the point of saying fuck it. I'm getting sick of emailing these retards every day about their shitty software that wont work but I'm waiting to hear back from them so hopefully this time it will work. Look at the stress i put myself through to deliver the goods to you the viewer haha. Anyways this is starting to get pretty lengthy so here are some hands from the past few days, check back for part 2 of the Vegas trip and I'm out.
I don't feel like explaining any of these.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1127807 - i will comment on this hand because just by viewing it, it looks like i played this horribly. When in fact i wouldnt change anything about the way i played it based on the info i have on this guy. I just made a bad read and got a little unlucky. I really put him on a hand like qq/kk so when i check the turn i want him thinking i just raised with a hand like ak and missed so i plan to check raise the turn. When he checks behind me on the turn i still have him on like qq/kk so i bet out a tiny 150 to make him think im making a defensive bet with like 99/1010 when in reality im praying he reraises me. He hit the time button and thought forever before finally reraising me and i thought 100% i had the best hand so i insta re shoved. Obviously i was wrong in this situation but i really feel i played this well and its a profitable line to take it just didnt work out this time and it was a bad read.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1127807 - i will comment on this hand because just by viewing it, it looks like i played this horribly.

Back from Vegas- Part 1.
Unfortunately i returned back home from Vegas Thursday morning to ice cold Michigan. I got tons of pictures and plan on putting some up but i don't have them on my computer yet. I'm not really going to go into detail about the trip until i get the pictures to go along with it. So for part 1 of my back from Vegas report is going to be about my poker experiences out there. This time out there my results were very up and down and i had some pretty big swings. The first day i played at the Wynn in the 2/5nl no cap game and was playing really well and managed to be up around 900 after a fairly short session of 4 hours. This was followed by a -1300 day playing in the same 2/5 no cap game but this time i was at Caesars. I don't know what it is about Caesars but it just seems like every time i play there i get killed/bad beats. I took a pretty sick beat with aces against this old idiot who was just playing every hand and catching everything imaginable. I have AA in the bb 3 limper's so i raise to 30 and the only caller is the old guy. Flop is J78 which isn't the greatest flop but i had been playing with this guy for a while and had a pretty good read on when he had a big hand and didn't. I bet out like 50 into the 70 pot and he calls immediately. Turn is a 2 which changes nothing and at this point i have him on like 89/J10 so i decide to take it down right here and almost bet the pot of around 150, he thinks for a few then calls. The river is a 4 which seems like a harmless card but i decide to check anyways with the intention of calling any bet. Once i check he instantly bets out 400 and i think for a good minute and finally call only to see him turn over 56 off for a rivered straight. I might have laid this down vs. certain players but i had seen this guy get caught twice bluffing with huge bets on the river. The next day i played in the 2/5 game at the bellagio for only a few hours but i managed to win close to 900 and the players were just horrible. I played in the 5/10 at the bellagio for like 5 hours and was absolutely card dead so i got blinded away for like 300. The last day out there i went back to the Wynn and pulled in like another 400 but lost close to 500 in the last half hour so i shouldve been up more. Overall i had a decent week playing poker pulling in around 1300 and also went 4 out of 5 on the sports bets i made. The sick thing is that i ended up coming home with the exact amount i went out there with, i guess you could say i spent a little bit of money out there haha. Anyways that pretty much wraps up my poker report while out there so check back in the next few days to read part 2(the party report)and see the pics.
Also i played some 3/6 and 5/10 on bodog yesterday and managed to slow play kings against this idiot in the 5/10 game and won about 1k. I still cant get this stupid hand reader thing to work so i still cant show you some hands on bodog but I'm working on it and hopefully will have some up in the next few days. Anyways check back for part 2 and I'm out.

Vegas../ I own Bodog
That's right i am leaving to go to Vegas tomorrow for a week and i own bodog haha. I haven't posted anything about Vegas lately because it really crept up on me this time. I plan on moving out to the desert after summer so we are going to look at some places to live while out there. We are staying at the good ol Imperial Palace and even though the place is a total shit hole its in such a good location for the price you cant pass it up. I plan on having tons of pics to put up on the site when i return so hopefully i actually take some this time. Every time i have gone out there over the past year i always say i am going to use my camera or camcorder and i always come back with nothing. Also the last 2 times i have been out there i haven't played much poker so i really hope to at least get a few good sessions. I plan on putting in some good sessions at either the Bellagio 5/10 game or the Wynn 2/5 no cap. As for owning Bodog i think the statement is pretty self explanatory.......... haha no but I've done ok on there over the past 2 days. Ive only played for maybe 3 hours of 6 handed 2/3nl over the last 2 days but i have killed it while playing. I managed to make over a K over the past 2 days and for only playing 1 table of 2/3 for about 3 hours that's kinda sick. I will be continuing this goal when i return next Thursday and will be playing 3/6nl where i hope some of the players are at least competent. Well its getting kind of late so im about to crash but check back next Thursday for some pics of the mess the following week will be and to watch me dominate bodog. Fuckin Vegas and I'm out.

Day 5
Well after a very long weekend i was able to find a few hours today to play some poker. I did only play for a couple hours but i was able to put up some okay numbers. I decided to play in the 215 buy in tournament on pokerstars and just like every tournament i enter i got fucked. It was a few minutes before the 1st break and i have been playing fairly tight but still have around the same amount of chips i started with. The blinds are at 150/300 and I pick up AA in the bb with 3 limper's so i raise it up to 1200 and get 1 caller. The flop comes down q107 rainbow so i bet out 1500, he min raises to 3000, I go all in for around 5k more and he insta-calls with qj, turn 8, river a 9 giving him a running straight gg me. Other than that the only poker i played was a few hours of 6 handed 2/3nl on bodog and managed to win a little. I was up a pretty decent amount until i got involved in a big hand right before i got off and ended up losing around 250. I'm still working on getting some hands up on the site to show you guys but i should have it figured out within the next few days. Anyways that pretty much sums up my poker day so check back tomorrow and I'm out.

Day 4 /Yesterdays play..
Yesterday i only managed to play for about 2 hours on bodog but was still able to put up some decent numbers. I played 1 table of .50/1 6 handed and another table of 1/2 full ring. I played pretty ABC on the 1/2 table but was able to pick up a few hands and take down some nice pots. On the 6 handed table i came out playing like a total maniac and was raising probably around 75% of the hands. After about a half hour of playing crazy the other players were catching and just calling me down with hands like A high or bottom pair. So i set the image that i wanted and now it was just a matter of time before i started picking up some hands and getting paid off, which is exactly what happened. I finally ended up picking up some hands and was getting paid off over and over again and really just ended up running over the table. The 1/2 game was pretty much as weak as the .50/1 and i was able to win around a buy-in in that game too. Anyways the RED WINGS game is about to start to I'm out and check back tomorrow to see what i got goin on. GO WIIIIIINGGGGGGGGSSSSSSSSSS

Day 3, another short session
Today i played another really short session of about 1.5 hours again but was able to still win a decent amount for how short i played. I only played 2 tables of .50/1 but the games are so soft it might as well have been .1/.2 cent. I still cant figure out how to post hands from bodog and its really starting to piss me off. I just want to show some of the hands because they are funny how bad some of them are. The wings squeaked out a win last night in over time in a great game against the sharks so i was able to pick up another 65 off that game. I have enough money in the account now to move up so tomorrow i will be playing 1/2 and i am pretty curious to see if the level of play there is any better. I put 50 bucks on Dallas tonight so hopefully they will finally play a good game and win. They only need to win by 3 and i think that they are well over due to play a good game and Dirk is due for a big night. Anyways that pretty much sums up today's play and I'm heading out to get drunk seeya.

Day 2....
Well i only played for about 1.5 hours again today but still made some good money in the short session. I played 1 table of .50/1 and pretty much ran over the table. I was up about 2 buy ins within the first hour and a half but had some stuff to do so i called it quits for the day. Anyways its the 1st intermission of the Red Wings game so i am going to keep this real short. I already managed to lose my 2nd goal because i bet 50 on the Wings money line tonight but if they end up winning then i wont consider it a loss haha. I still haven't figured out how to get hands from bodog onto pokertracker so i still don't have any hands but hopefully i will figure it out soon. As soon as i figure out what the problem is i will post some hands the 2nd period is about to start so I'm out. GOOO RRRRRRRREEEEDDDD WWWWINNNNNNGGGGGGSSSSSSSSSSSSs

Day 1 on Bodog....
I finally got money onto bodog today after calling them and i have to say their customer support is really good. I just called them and within about 3 minutes i had money on my account and was good to play. Unfortunately that is about the only good thing i like about bodog. Their software is so shitty its unbelievable and almost unplayable. I don't know if its because im not used to it or what, but compared to stars and fulltilt its a joke. Another thing that i don't like about bodog is the fact that they have a sports book on their website. I hate this because i know im going to start wanting to gamble on some games and i didn't put enough cash on there to do that too. So as of right now I'm going to make a goal within my goal and try not to gamble on any sports games within the 30 days on bodog. This doesn't include when I'm in Vegas May 9-16 haha. As far as poker goes i only played for about 1.5 hours on bodog and ended up finishing with about 370 in my account. I started off 1 tabling .25/.50 and within about hour I was up to 300 and had enough to jump up to .50/1. It really is amazing how bad the play is at the lower levels compared to the stakes i am used to. This is almost a disadvantage for me because i think that i am almost over thinking what these players are doing rather than just doing the obvious against opponents who are oblivious. Anyways i have to get going but i cant figure out how to get Hand Histories from bodog onto pokertracker yet so once i figure that out i will post some hands and I'm out.

And the winner is...... kanataholdem
"Try a 4 buy in challenge - i.e start at the $25NL game with $100, once you get to $200 move up to $50 NL..etc..etc. move back down if you drop 2 buy-ins ..see how far up you can go in 100 days ..call it the "fuck bankroll management challenge". Kanataholdem - Pokerstars
Thank you for all of your ideas, it came down to 2 or 3 that sounded interesting but i think i will have the most fun with this one.
This is the goal that i am choosing but i am going to tweak a few things about it. I am going to start off with $200 playing .25/.50nl and see how far i can run that amount up to. I will be using very poor bank roll management but i think this will be pretty fun to see how high up i can get. Also instead of doing this for 100 days i am just going to do this for the next 30 days and see where I'm at after the the 30 days. I am going to try and deposit the money onto bodog just for a change of scenery and once i get the money on there i will start. I don't really have a set amount that I'm going for but i think i should be able to turn this 200 into at least 4-5 k by the end of the 30 days and hopefully higher. Keep in mind i am going to be playing with poor bank roll management but its only 200 bucks and anything after that will be a free roll.
As for my normal play i have just been killing it lately. I have been playing really good and the fact that I'm running like a god doesn't hurt. I'm not really in the mood to go back and look for all the hands from the weekend right now but i will try to get them up later on tonight.
